I reported a helicopter in unit 1 three years ago for pushing elk over to 27 the day before early archery started. It' was G&F doing a "survey ".

I remember you posting that and thinking it seems very odd that game and fish would do that during a hunt....

Wow. You guys really give hunters in general a bad name. There are a lot of hunters that stay at the AL who don’t share your sadistic views. Have any of you ever spoken to us? Have you ever asked our stance? No. You listen to one person who again, has 1% of the story. Maybe start thinking for yourselves.

Seems to me you have 100% opportunity to share your views here and now.  Let's hear them.

If you support feral horses on public land, then you’re not a friend of most wildlife managers and sportsmen.  As such, I will never recommend your business to anyone…..and I let them know why.  Several hunters/fishermen have already stayed other places once they learn of your skewed feral horse beliefs.

I like domestic horses and folks who use them……having said that, I wouldn’t care if feral horses (vermin) died a slow and agonizing death on public lands.

Well I don't endorse a slow agonizing death, but rounding up feral horses for a quick dispatch or placement I can live with .

@AmericanGirl how do you feel about invasive species? Do you know the damage feral horses are doing in AZ?

It was a tricer ad with slik head. He wasn't sure exactly where he lost it on Saturday.  His first hunt with tripod. He ended up killing nice 3x3 Monday using 10s and glasing like a archery hunt like lots of us used to do in 80s. Funny thing is he works less than 2 miles from my house.

Member here? Be cool to hear the story and pics.

Hello everyone! I'm planning a Coues deer hunt in Arizona and need help choosing the best unit. Can anyone recommend a unit with good deer populations? I want to increase my chances of a successful hunt. Any recent hunting trends or specific areas within the recommended units would be appreciated. Thank you!

Realistically are you looking to kill a big buck or just get your first animal. Best unit is a loaded question, especially if you have never applied before.  Great units take years to draw with our lottery system and if you don't live in AZ it takes even longer.  There are things to consider such as your experience level, shooting proficiency, appropriate gear etc.  The easiest units to draw will be the ones close to the southern border of Mexico. Imo draw an easy to get tag unit and get your first deer. That will boost your confidence level and from there start thinking about best units and best hunts.
