    I noticed some questions posted here about certain elk hunts. I posted my own question over in the "Other Big Game" forum. If anyone would like to add to it, please follow the link below. I am looking to find out information about the area aroung Young, and would also be interested in any tips about where to start our scouting.

    HuntinAZ, its been a couple of years but I have gotten in to some nice bulls on the naglin rim just north of the air strip.

    Alright lets give this thing a try.

     

     

    Where: Universal Ranch RV Park slot #14 (where my dad and I are camped)

     

    When: Saturday November 11th. (That is Veterans Day)

    7:30 P.M

     

    If you can make it we can do a BBQ just bring your own steaks or burgers or loins from all those big bucks that are gonna drop.

     

    If interested in meeting up shoot me a PM and I will plan on you guys attending.

    Going down scouting again in 36b. Leaving tomorow midday and wont be back til Monday afternoon. I will be camped at the RV park on the east side of Arivaca. Stop by if you want to chat. I will be in a newer model Dodge Dakota dark grey. Sadly no sticker on this truck since it is still my moms.

    Well I am new to this but I have really enjoyed the discussion forum so far. I am a firefighter with Mesa Fire Dept have 23 yrs. on the job married for 28 yrs have 8 children and 1 grandchild. I also am a block mason. I love to hunt and enjoy the outdoors looking to nail my first coues buck.

    Me and a buddy scouted 36b this weekend and boy was it green.Allergies bout got the best of me but we did see deer every time we stopped to glass.Didn't find the bucks we were looking for but did see a couple in the 80's range.I have never seen such thick ocitillo stands.Tough to see the deer but they are there.No illegals and lots of border patrol,guard and dept of defense vehicles.

    Hey out2 I have a Nov. tag with my two sons and haven't had a chance to get down there, Have a Utah hunt in Oct. may get down between them. What does it look like? and did you see a good bucks?

    The week before the 21st I will be camped along San Juan Ranch rd in 36a. Hope to find that BIG BUCK for the early hunt. If anyone is out that way stop by. My camp will be the one with a cabelas lodge pole tent. It's green and my truck is a silver Chevy.

    larrycampbell6564@msn.comI have a Savage model 110 in 30-06 with a Bushnell banner 3x-9x scope for sale $250.00. A few scraches on stock. I have run out of room in the gun safe and have three other .06's so this one needs to go. Good starter for someone or a backup. I will post pics as soon as I find my cables!
