Looking for some reasonably priced 303 british ammo. Im not picky, just looking to shoot this yard sale find. I went to sportsmans and they had 1 box left for $45ish. Thats way too high in my opinion but i dunno im not a 303 brit guy. Maybe $2+/round is normal in which case lee Enfield for sale. So if anyone has any old stuff or a few loose rounds on the floorboard or a new box at a reasonable price let me know please. Located in west tucson.

I recently puchased a used shotgun reloading setup. In that setup is two old unopened cans 8 oz ea. Of alcan 7 powder both made in sweeden for smith and wesson. As far as i can tell this powder is about 40 years old. So my question is what would you do with this stuff? Is there some sort of collector value? Is it safe to load with? Also with the lot i puchased is some 28ga components (100 primed never loaded hulls from Remington, some wads and around 500 fired hulls). If anyone is interested in the 28ga stuff let me know and we can trade components or make a deal of some sort. Oh and theres a book "Scherer on skeet" signed by Scherer in 1987. Ive never heard of the guy but my google search indicates that he was good. Any imput is appreciated I've never reloaded for shotguns but looking forward to it

I was in an artillery unit for a short period of time. So im not an expert but our guns were 155 toweds. The band with the rifling marks should be brass. The rifling should be fairly deep. It should be heavy in weight, obviously, somewhere around 100 lbs. As far as our dummies went. They were all painted blue. Again not an expert only made it to the range about 5 times

My step mom used one on me once (she was a flight nurse and had it on hand) after that she said keep it as she couldn't use it anymore since it was opened. Later i used it to stich up my lip. They work great and not nearly as painful as it might seem and removal is a breeze. I still have the thing.

Unit 9 early archery here! Stoked! -
My uncle and I were lucky enough to kill a couple javis yesterday on our archery hunt and today I tried a new method of brain removal that I thought I'd share. I'm sure there are better ways to do this but this worked well for me. I used a broken arrow shaft to scrape the brain away from the skull as well as I could. Then I pierced the bottom of a trash bag with the shaft and put the skull in the bag to trap the mess. Used my hand on to kinda back up the trash bag and squirt a little air through the arrow shaft. Brain removed and contained in the bag. Easiest and cleanest way I've tried so far. Hope that's understandable and hope it helps some of you guys.
