Rag Horn, I have the same tag and it will be my first time hunting the unit. Are you solo? I wouldn't mind teaming up for some scouting or even for the hunt.

Is anyone having luck in 20c in the HAM hunt? I was out Saturday and Sunday and didn't see anything. I spent some time south of hillside and some down by the weavers and saw very little sign. Hiked a good 10 miles each day and tons of time glassing. Any help would be appreciated, I'm headed out again on Thursday.

@Seek100, Muzzy, OZ - I know they're in there but the spots I scouted before the season had very little sign last week in addition to not seeing anything. I would appreciate any help I can get if you have a suggestion. Not looking for anyone's secret spot, but this is my first year in 20C. I usually hunt 17 HAM but the herds have been declining pretty bad the last 5 years.

I picked up a leftover tag for unit 30a with a Nov 25th open date. I've never hunted whitetail or the unit.... anyone else pick up the same tag and want to join me or have me join your group? Any tips on the unit would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Matthew- I've got a 30a late November tag and am new to the unit as well. Let me know if you want an extra set of eyes on your hunt, I'd join you to help glass and scout for my hunt at the same time -

Yeah, I always start there to get an idea. It sounds like access will be an issue so I'll get out and scout a few times. I'm not a road hunter and don't mind hiking back to good spots. It recommended dos cabezas, pedregosa or peloncillo ranges. Anyone have any input on the three options?
