Awesome. Shoot me his contact info, I’m calling a few guides for options as well. I’ve heard similar about size expectations. Most bulls around that size but a few really big ones to be found in some ugly places.

Haha, thank you. The New Mexico draw is definitely a crap shoot which makes it hard to plan around when you'll draw a tag.

Anyone else get lucky and draw a bull tag for unit 16A this year? Or has anyone else hunted it in the past? Would welcome any advice or someone willing to share info about the unit. I'm debating whether to hire a guide or if a couple scouting trips is enough to give myself a good chance at killing a bull.

FYI Swaro's warranty is fully transferrable and not affected by the current owner registering it. The current owner just calls Swaro to tell them it was sold, and the new owner can register it in their name.

I did a little more research for them, and it looks like the WM Lakes Community DOES have power and water available.

Posting for a family friend. They have two .24 acre lots side by side in White Mountain Lake Estates. The property is only 20 mins north of Show Low in unit 3B and very close to 3C. WM Lakes Estates does have electricity and water available the lots give you access to the private White Mountain Lake in the community. There is also no HOA. They are asking $10.5k for each lot or $20k for both if purchased together. A neighboring lot sold at the end of July for $11.5k right down the street. Link below to that property with pictures of the area to give you an idea of what to expect. The two properties for sale are just north of that one on the same Skyline Rd. They are working on pics of the actual lots but they are identical to the Zillow lot link pics. You can also use Google Earth and get a good idea. Red location on Google maps of actual property location below. PM if you want the addresses and there is lots of info on the area available on Google.

The employee told me that all EL’s have the same glass so it didn’t matter if I got an old pair or a new pair. Mine were a 2021 model anyways so it didn’t matter but he spent 5 minutes explaining how there really was no difference in the glass. 🤷🏼♂️
There is definitely a difference in the different gens of ELs and their performance. The originals had the Swarobright coatings and are “not hd.” They started making the the SV (swarovision) model around 2010 and the field pro model around 2015. The glass and coatings between the SV and field pro model are the same but anything pre2010 you’d notice a difference in glass quality/performance. That’s when they added the field flattening lens as well. The changes between the field pro and sv model were cosmetic like the objective lens caps and harness connection points. I’d buy the sv or fp model 👍

That’s a steal @ $400!!! Bighorns are great tents and the vestibule adds a ton of space.
