Miss opening day of Dove season.......... NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next year I'm going for 101, but I will definitely have a paid dove cleaner waiting for my birds. I never want to clean that many birds again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another great morning of hunting with Big Browns. We had three kids out with us and all go their limits. I also got to watch my son shoot his last bird out of the air for the second day in a row.

I was out with Big Browns and one of our limits was my son's first official dove out of the air. After the hunt we grilled up some dove bites. Great morning!!!

After an EPIC morning hunting with Predator and Big Browns (Huge thanks again to Predator for inviting us out). We took my son out for an evening shoot and he was able to get his limit on morning dove. Something that Big Browns and I failed to do this morning. Sorry about the selfie but Big Browns insisted!

Another hunting season is fast approaching, and for me this will be the most exciting yet! I have only been hunting for a few years but have become very much addicted to the sport. As my interest in hunting has grown, so has my son's. At this point he as only got to hunt dove and waterfowl, but that is soon going to change since he has drawn an Elk tag in October. Once we learned that he drew the tag we have spent some time at the range getting him ready. It has been fun to watch him learn and become a better shooter each time we go out. Today we got to shoot the rifle we plan on using for his hunt, my Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor. We have shot the rifle a handful of times but never at a distance greater than 200 yards. Until today that is.....The pictures attached show my 1st shot and my son's first shot at 443 yards. Needless to say my son shot great and not to bad for dad either. After today I am confident in his abilities and more excited now than ever for the upcoming season. I cant wait to see how much more he learns and grows during his first big game hunt!

These guys are at "work" making their political protest. I would like to see how long one of us regular folks could keep our "jobs" while bringing our politics to the workplace. Shame on the nfl for allowing it to happen and get this out of control.
