Mark did all my mounts except one, which was a duck that looked like a chicken(mark wasnt around then). Met mark when he 1st started his shop on 51st ave long freaking time ago. no, thats not true, he could be hunting yotes. there is NO law that says you can ONLY have a loaded weapon in your UNIT at least not in this state.

Should be legal as technically your not hunting a animal in the unit your shooting from. Your hunting a animal in another unit which you have a tag for. alot of laws read "Take" so your not "taking" it from the unit your shooting in your "taking" it from the unit you killed it in.

I live in one of the hoods on the west side since 82. to date I have had one jacket stolen out my my 69 brono, a spare tire stolen off my bass boat. both by 2 separate neighbors. I guess when you live in the hood no one wants your hood shoot had one guy try to steal our old suburban in an epic fail. he busted the side window slipped off the the side bars and ripped it arm wide open(chunk of meat was still on glass). bled like a stuck pig for almost 1/2 mile. tried to break in 6 or 7 cars along the way from the blood trail. ended up stealing some ladies car that started it and got out. my neighbor and I followed the blood trail, didnt know a human could bleed that much. which lead us to the lady and the cops taking her info.

yes there is and the road going in from the rifle range back in the hills is getting alot of drilling /mining last I was there. 3 of the major side roads were washed out as well. still saw plenty of coues just didnt have alot of options like 10 years ago.(this was on west side by the river)

Yeah thats what was cool about it. that old ink label. pepsi in flag opened in 1943 kid and I tried to figure out how they got there that long ago. we figured it was some loggers or hunters. some old stumps but no old roads or even signs of them(depressions). we figured from 60's mom looked it up when we got home said it was from 46.

I found these a few years back on one the fingers going into sycamore canyon unit 8, hunting with my daughter. both were from 1946 according to internet and marking dates on bottles, still had the government warning on the whiskey bottle as well as the pepsi bottle was made in flagstaff. they were found together with in a few inchs right under a huge ponderous pine

Third deer from the back looks to be getting excited. ;) that's more than likely a deer drive lots of deer got wacked that way.

Some of the funnest hunts I have had was in those tall grass's and spotted oaks. Lots of deer in there and tons of hunters

haha she was afraid of heights, says after the repelling in boot she believes she got over it. when she took me to the recruiters to sign her up I thought we were going to navy one, she goes no Marines Dad. I was like ummm Ok.

Thanks I finally found the Forrest service incident report looks to be a prescribed burn. This will be my 1st hunt since since 1998 as all my tags were always giving to our kids. going to be different hunting with out the kids this year.

Stay at the edge of the sage and what tall brown grass you can find, the bucks with bed in the little lots of trees and scrubs around the grass and sage during the day. 220 road while a community hunting highway is always good at the low elevations early and late hunt. mainly cause few hunt it. everyone thinks they need to go into the pines to find bucks

Bojangles congrats and thanks that is really aswum what you did. back in the 90's I knew a guy in WY he would set handicap people up for hunts. he would make what ever was needed for them to hunt. not to mention he brought them in on horses and gave them the entire experiance. modfied wheelchairs for the back country. He did many hunts for paraplegics , he hooked up a air system to pull the trigger. as electronics were Illegal on triggers at the time. one guy in particular he used sony handycam with external tv screen and a air system, as the person couldnt move his head that well or see that good., he could move his fingers but not arms. The Man went out of his way to help these people, he attended many seminars here in the valley and did quite a few make a wish foundation hunts back then. This guy was an older cowboy had a huge ranch up in wy and was really creative on making things work for those who wanted to hunt but couldnt.
