Can you imagine the uproar if we had video cameras back in the 70s and 80's or even had footage of the stuff we did that no one cared about. shooting yotes with a sawed off from a snow mobile, out the window of a truck while driving on the ranch, shooting pheasant from a harrow bed. oh for the good old days where the only thing that was asked was how many did you get.

Whats sad is now we have hunters that feel they need to be PC because other people might get there feelings hurt posting on hunting forums,. Ive seen hunting forums over the years where you will get banned for saying I killed a ....., showing blood in picture(ie must be cleaned up before posting pic, mouth must be shot basically the animal must look life like. but then they got the predator sections where no one cares whats posted.stripped tails missing ear, ballistic jelly, head shots etc etc whats the difference. Some of the responses from hunters trying to justify killing a deer or elk cracks me up. they usually start with "well were managing the herd to keep them in check, or "were keep them from damaging ranchers / farm land " most sorry butt excuess's I have ever heard. why cant hunters be honest from the get go, instead of sugar coating everything Like I like the meat Because I legally can. Yeah those kinda threats would probably get some attention. that sounds like a earth 1st tactic they are a pretty crazy bunch and thrived in tucson way back when. heck they were busted behind the whitetanks back in the 90s trying to cut power transmission poles with a cutting torch. when the deputy that called in for back up got to there suburban they have live grenades in it and a few weapons Defiantly we will disagree on whats funny and whats not, my fu attitude has worked for me for alot of years so I will stick with it.

Because you put in for the wrong unit. northern units dont have good draw odds you need to put in for units in the desert area's they are almost always 100% success. I get drawn for yuma area every year I put it.

LMAO, Daughter always looks foward to elk hunting or killing any animal. I and, longshooter and a few other friends told her it might be better for her back in the kitchen where most women should be after the last 3 hunts ; this is the last year I can draw a tag for her. after that she is on her own

I dont get upset at the draw or try to think too hard about it. I put in the units I want no matter what the odds. if I get drawn great if not archery deer and yotes. would much rather hunt yotes. than elk anyway as I can go with anyone i know that gets drawn and have just as good as time. only thing I faith fully put in for is deer in the north rim units and bighorn you gotta admit its hilarious when the draw starts people trying to figure our there stats and then the cards start getting hit. I bet the Pharmacy's sell a ton of Blood Pressure medicine, then next best time is when the e-scouters hit the boards. the only way G&F could make the system more fair is to eliminate all bonus points and use a true 100% lottery system.
