I would bet that population estimate is light.

    No kidding?

when I was hunting the north rim regulatory years ago we used to see a bunch of them both outside and inside the park,  early 80s might see a few here and there, early to mid 90s  saw double the amount then late 90's early 2000's they must have bred like rabbits they were everywhere.

Hey this is a great thread, great example to other members on here not how to run down someone’s eles post, but yet to ask in another post 😊 👍

I wasnt trying to run down any thread. I happened to see that savage and I'm like Crap why dont we hear about them anymore and couldnt it be next month since Levers Bought that 38/357 lever gun in under an hour. That savage is a pretty nice gun in the 338 Lapua, I havent shot the ruger but didnt really like the ruger version.

I have a few guns on my bucket list(so to speak) I need to get yet, one a 338 laupa ,another 50bmg and a few lever guns in pistol cal's. Then I think I am done lol. I even had thoughts when I saw the add to sell my bushmaster shorty from when bushmaster very 1st came out with that style (early 90's late 80's) its never had a round cycled through it.

not very many guns that give me wood anymore ;)

  3. Remember the Rage with the .338 Lapua . what happened? you dont see them talked about anymore. was it the Recoil that got to the bitch biscuit crowed? Ive shot them with and with out a brake with out is a tad warm and with is loud as heck just as any rifle with a brake.

I brought this up after seeing the 2 for sale today in the for sale section, I had forgot all about them. but am curious as to why they quietly went away.

  5. Unit 9 is a pretty simple cow elk hunt, get on any major forrest service road and start driving early morning late evening, you will see them pretty much everywhere. then figure out where your going to hunt from there.

north of redbutte and east side of freeway in the pines. junipers hold them also but its a wastes and you cant see far enough. many meadows on the east side of the freeeway. once you get up there ans start looking all your questions will be answered.

I found it offensive he deleted my post. We were on a roll about bags O dicks and douchery. Was a bit fun actually. Somebody probably got butt hurt about the Asian dick and reported us 🙄

That’s one heck of an enticing offer, let me ask my daddy if he is ok with that and get back to you. He is currently eating a bag of teeny tiny wittle baby dicks 😉

I was wondering what happened to the thread. I didnt get to see it after my last post but it had lots of potential, came back a few hours later and poof someone took there fairy wand and rainbow-ed it to a safe place.

Platinum, palladium and rhodium. A gram of platinum is worth about $40, BUT...a single troy ounce, which is slightly heavier than a regular ounce, of rhodium cost around $27,000 last week — more than a brand-new Toyota Prius. That’s up from $1,700 three years ago.

ahh it was already answered sorry

ouch man, i bet everyone has some stolen cat stories. Why in the heck can these be worth anything for scrap? seems like easy fix to make them worthless to a thief? Its been going on for years.

I replaced a few over the years and welded heat treated steel bars on the back side so they would trash their sawzall blade.

Its due to the iridium used in the newer hybred cats if I recall. I believe its iridium . the high end cars use it scrap guy comes next dorr and pays 500+ for a used worn out prius cat. neighbor was telling me that one day  last year.

I think the other cats being stolen are just because people think all cats are the same and bring in the same money.

  9. All thieves must die.

that sucks big time, last year the car mechanic guy next door had over 15 cats stolen in one night in front of building and back of building, mostly prius's and those are super expensive, at the same time they took the starter out of my old dodge and left it hanging by the cable and stole the stereo system, guess they didnt want my cat. I was there that night till like 12 midnight so it happened between then and 5am

Those are the coolest pics ive seen on most websites in a long time.

That 1st pic her face says it all. the colors are fantastic. the pic of them sitting on the edge of canyon must be a girl thing, my Daughter had me taking pictures of her on every canyon we saw while hunting together.

Congrats she will remember that hunt for a long long time.
