One year before deer season my Dad and I went to the range to site in the rifles and as we were getting the guns out of the truck a coyote made the fatal mistake of coming out of the brush and setting right in front of the 100yd berm. The Old man took out the 7mm and put him to bed with some hot lead, one of those great times Ill never forget!!

Where are you located?

TIKKA and thats all I got to say about that! I have a Tilka T3 in 7mm Rem and it is a tack driver killed a mile deer at 900 with it this year and my son killed his bull at 1220 we shoot a lot and feel very confident in the gun! Shoot a lot and shoot smart!

Havent done a pig but I just got back from a job in Chile after it was over we had a barbecue and we did a hole lamb over coles. Took about 4 hours with the old school hand crank and a long chunk of hard wood. The only thing they use for seasoning is salt and lots of it. It was delicious and Id love to do it here for the family!

Dont get me wrong Im like everyone else on this site Id love more opurtunity but every animal I have had the chase to pull the trigger on or put an arrow in are all trophies to me. AZGFD has done a darn good job allowing us the opportunity to take a trophy every year. Im setting at camp right now having an adult beverage and baby setting the dogs my wife is setting a spring hopping to put an arrow in a deer, my oldest son put down a big oll rutted up muley this week with a rifle and we killed 2 foxes yesterday evening. Thank God you live in Arizona and not California!!!

My wife has a Weatherby Camilla in 6.5 creedmore and it is a tack driver I have been really impressed with it. After my oldest son shot it he has caught the long range bug and wants something in 7mm. All the comments have been very helpful and I can't wait to get him set up!

I sure hope some day I am filthy stinking rich or the luckiest SOB in the world so I can kill a bull in velvet!!!!!

My oldest son drew the late 17B tag this year with his hunters ed and a loyalty point, his mom is on the verge of kicking his a$$ she has put in for that tag only, for 6 years now and nothing. It's all in the luck!

I set my first salt up last year, and I've got to thank all the good people out there that have walked past looked around and not messed with the cameras. I know I won't be lucky for ever but that's why there are more than one. I thought I was far enough out to not worry about it but you never are! The day I have someone screw with it we will make um famous!!

Adam, I know what you are going through bud! I have three boys, the oldest two are from a previous marriage but they have been my boys since they were 5 and 2. The oldest has been my best friend since the get go the middle one oh man have we had our battles! He used to be my hunting buddy until hanging out with the boys turned into more fun, rarely wares the same clothes twice a pair of shoes for every day of the year, mom and dad are the dumbest people on earth, all the pain in our butt attitudes us parents have dealt with. He is now 20 years old plays college football works his butt off because nothing comes easy in life and mom and dad are his rock, 180 degree turn when he figured out how the real world goes around and that mom and dad will be there through all the good and really crappy times in life and all the bone head friends are worried more about themselves than him. It sucks, we want our kids to be the best they can be but some take a different road to get there! He still doesn't like to hunt but loves spending time outdoors I take what I can get and have learned to give a little too I guess. Hang in there brother it gets easier!

It will not be shot all that much, she is mainly an archery hunter but has been putting in for some late rife hunts. If and when she draws one she will shoot a lot to get ready but I would have to say I'd like to keep it within 600 yards. We will use it on some youth hunts as well, price is not an issue but I don't want to put a high dollar scope on a safe queen if you know what I mean. I would like to be able to dial to the yardage and not rely on bdc reticals. -
We picked up a camera today that we've had out since August, the Coues deer were killing it until the snow started to fly then the Mulies took it over.
-
Put on the miles today and only came out with one chewed up pinky. The video is awesome can't wait to see the next one!!!

My 14 year old would love to join his old man in some garage time reloading, his mom and I shoot 28 gauge and that's all I've been reloading. If it's still available we will stand in line too!

Our insurance went up $16 a month, when the wife called to check into it the minimum wage hike was the reason they gave her. You would think with more money in their pockets the burger flippers of AZ would be able to afford insurance their selves and we would not have to pay for it.
