I've been following the Coues forum for quite some time and have really enjoyed all the pictures and stories. Thank you all for sharing your experiences. This is my first post and will make it short. I am so proud of my nephew Jacob for getting it done with a single shot to the heart. I've been teaching and guiding him over the past 3 years on how to hunt Coues. I don't know if it was buck fever but he missed his shots on some nice bucks over the last couple of years. This year I had the opportunity and time to teach him how to reload. He took advantage of this and spent lots of time reloading and lots of practice at the range shooting and dialing his rifle in. It paid off and now he has his confidence back. It makes me happy to see such a quality young man take up the sport and get hooked on hunting the "Gray Ghost" Congratulations Jacob for the clean kill on a beautiful Coues whitetail!! www.kingmesquite.com
