Forgive my laziness, probably won't look it up, but is that legal?

Still time to apply in Colorado...

Beautiful bull! Congratulations!

Don’t have e-tag but my portal showed mine and my buddies tag numbers, then they disappeared this morning. The web designer is probably trying to meet a deadline for this week.

That’s a bummer, brother. Sorry to hear it.

We’re you guys able to seal the deal? I’m on the peaks and haven’t heard a bugle in 5 days. Been tough over here.

I sure am glad no one likes it.

I actually love that unit. That late tag is undervalued in my opinion. It’s a bitch to glass up there but just get your face into the wind and hike into the pines as far off the road as you can get. Keep your scope on 3x and be ready.
I really enjoyed that hung last year! We scouted hard!

Kachina Peaks ML baby! I'm so dang excited for this hunt!

Who knows. Everything is going faster than last year, which is cool.

I will absolutely do one! I've been wondering about it for a long time.

1st choice was muzzleloader, second was archery.

Got a hit too. Kachina Peaks for this guy! I've been wondering about this hunt for a few years now.

I start my hunt this Friday in 22n, and can only hope for a bull like yours.
Good luck! Hunt hard!

Update:
My wife and I spent the week prior to the hunt scouting and staring at elk pretty hard in the unit and were able to be successful opening morning! About 10 minutes after shooting light I hit my bull in the shoulder with the 28 Nosler at 385 yards. We saw quite a few elk in some really rough places. All in all it wasn’t a terrible pack out and I’m super proud of this bull out of a mid-tier unit.

Thank you! Not getting my hopes up for a monster but I’m excited to chase elk!
What elk bugle/call to buy?

Hmm... I guess the trade off here is I don't get to annoy my wife to the point of her leaving the house to go thrifting if I'm not practicing my elk calls all summer long. Give to get I guess...
