I went to a newer area to scout for my upcoming hunt and found all 7 sheds within a mile of each other my friend actually found one too so we found 8 total in this spot. Most of them are pretty old but still pretty cool to go into a new area and see so much sign. We glassed up 2 small 3x3 bucks also.

Thats what Im hoping for its about a 5 mile trek back in there but Im going to be committing to that spot for my hunt november 10th. Going back this weekend to stash some water. Hopefully I can find a bigger buck than the sheds I found.

Im taking some boy scouts up to the black river The 18th and 19th. To try and teach them how to fish. Ive been multiple times to the black river just wondering what the water conditions are like with all this rain? Any updates?

I know it might be too early still to worry, but is game and fish still mailing the tags out? My brother in laws got their tags last Friday. When should I start worrying? I moved about 4 months ago but I updated all my information on my account before I entered the draw so I don't think it shipped to the wrong address. Anyone else still waiting for their tags?

Price Drops, $90 for the alps commander pack $200 for the Eberlestock little big top. Both practically brand new!

the best load I've used is a Barnes lrx 168 grain bullet with H1000 powder .21" group at 100 yards. I haven't used too many different powders just some that I already had. I also used IMR 4831 with Berger VLD 140 grain bullets and had great results. The Barnes shot best touching the lands and the Berger shot best 20 thousands off the lands. Are you reloading for your rifle now?
