KUIU 3200 Icon Pro Verde $325

I have a Icon Pro 3200 that overall I really like. It did squeak alot at first which has been a been a common problem with their packs. I called Kuiu and told them the issue, the sent me a plasticy rubber strip to go on the bottom of the frame, and then i used some medical tape for the top part of the (stays) of the frame. Havent had any more issues. Hauled my bull out this year with it and it performed very well

    New Boots

I dont have a problem spending money on quality gear, especially boots. Nothing worse than foot issues. (Except Maybe a soaking wet sleeping bag). I always have a tough time with boots also, my left foot is completely different than my right foot so it makes it tough to get the fit/comfort dialed in which gets frustrating.

    New Boots

Trying to decide which new boots to get. I am looking for uninsulated models. I have my eye on the Crispi Idaho GTX and the Zamberlan Lynx Mid GTX. Whats your input, opinions, and or suggestions/recommendations. Thank you

    New Boots

I have been using Danners for the past 5 years or so. They have served me well but looking to try something a little more high end. I know every persons feet are different and it really depends on what works for that individual. Was just wanting to see what everyones opinions were. Mainly to steer clear of bad boots. And maybe check out some that i havent heard of before. I appreciate all the input. Lowa was another brand to look at. A person i know has Salomons but i didnt really like them that much. Best bet is going to be finding a place to try differnt boots on.

    tripod and pan head

More than welcome, its definitely a great setup for the price. Also worth noting that One of the legs on the promaster tripod is detachable and can be used as a monopod, trekking pole, tarp pole etc. Which is pretty cool and can save on weight. Best of luck this season!

    tripod and pan head

Yes when you unscrew the stock ball head from the promaster tripod the benro will thread directly on.

    tripod and pan head

No the benro is a pan head that i replaced the ball head with. I ran the ball head last year because i couldnt afford a pan head at the time (purchased new optics) the ball head it comes with is ok, you can get by with it but the pan head is much better.

    tripod and pan head

I am currently runnin the promaster XC525 and the Benro S2 pan head. I got the tripod on amazon.com for 150$ came with the ball head, although its a little bit heavier than the carbonfiber promaster it was within my budget at the time and is super compact. I got the Benro S2 off of S&S Archery for 76$ shipped and in my opinion for that price it cant be beat.
