    5 To 1 Odds.....Why Not?

Lance, if you do try this I have a suggestion which would be a huge help. Use a cinder hill as the back stop so #1 your spotter can see where the bullets land, and #2 put large black or white, depending on what the color of the landscape is, painted sheets of cardboard progressively higher up on the hill to use as aiming points because you'll run out of elevation with those irons. I know of the place to go BTW. You can do it, just let the lead fly(not that I have using irons). AND it's got to be a calm day of course.
  2. Okay so maybe I'll sell without the stock but make a good offer please. Or how about I throw in a FFP Athlon Talos BTR 4-14x44 in mil for the full price of the rifle with stock/ $1150. $1250 with the bullets. That's for a full custom rifle with a nice $330 scope. I don't know how you can beat a deal like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pics up/FX Impact PCP air rifle

It must be treated like a firearm, not a toy. But it's got plenty of power to kill stuff at longer distances for an air rifle. More like a 22 short rimfire but more silent.

I mounted my Athlon Ares 4.5-27x50 and was sending those 34's through a 1" hole bell target at 100Y a fair amount of the last weekend! So cool having 26 rounds in the mag too!

    Reduced - 1980's Rem 40x 308

Own a piece of target rifle history! Meant as a Palma rifle. In near mint condition, it was unshot 3 years ago when I bought it from a friend, now has close to 300-ish rounds through the barrel. It's the clip slot version and is a 5 shot repeater. Comes with an old period correct Redfield Olympic aperture rear sight and period correct Mid Tompkins front aperture sight. I'm near Flagstaff but could meet in Cottonwood for a FTF sale. Was $1100, then $1050, now $1000.

    Holdovers versus Come-Ups.

Eh, I'm bored so I'll post my favorite long range rifle. Or as it may be called here, a Tacticool rifle. I like the term "precision rifle". It's a American Rifle Company/ARC Mausingfield action with its included 20 moa picatinny mount, with a Trigger Tech trigger set at 10 oz, in a GRS Bolthorn chassis system which takes AICS type mags. A FFP S&B PM2 5-25x56/H59 in MRAD in ARC 34mm rings. Current cartridge is 6mm Benchrest which I used to hit the steel in the photo. I also used a TAB gear rear bag and a LRA bipod. The other photo is a witnessed 10 shots on a 19" steel at 1000Y I did last year. It was windy and why it's wide, but look at that small vertical for 9 of the shots at 1.5"! This thing SHOOTS! Done out of the back of my truck due to the location I shot at which has a slight rise I had to shoot over. I shot all 10 rounds in a minute or so.

I just now watched your video, That's a super nice hunting rifle set up and you made a great shot! You look familiar, do you go to Rusty's PRS/NRL practice matches. Or maybe it was Christophers match at Wikieup? Maybe we should take this to PM. Yeah it's mostly familiarisation, and practice, but instruction certainly speeds up the learning process.
