Just got back from hanging all my cameras . Guess Ive been lucky the last three years and have had no cameras stolen not even anyone in the area that i know of nock on wood . I placed my cameras out with a extended battery and a soler charger so if the forest closes the batteries wont go dead and I hane a 512 mb card in them dont know how meny pic I can get off this setup but it should last untell I get back to check them .

will put out all my cameras out tomarow befor everything gets shut down

I think you are right something has been funny with the site for some time . when I go to check new posts some times it wont give them to me when I know there some there

Was looking to go on a hog hunt in cali . where is a good place to go . Ive looked at a few ranches and hunting on public land but dont know much about it . any help would be great .

I use a python lock you can get at Walmart to lock bikes up it works well

Treestandman Thanks for the heads up !! My hunt of choice is the late hunt in 22 . I love that hunt . been lucky to have been drawn three times and have gotten two bulls . nothing big but there all big when your using a bow Bruce

I had planed to do some archery hunting but work and a project at home has kept me from doing so . Friday night my wife sister came over to look at the house about the only thing left is to tile the floors and they talked about doing it . My wife said she was going to do it and wonted me to get lost when she did it . Thats all I needed to hear saturday I loaded the tree stands up and got them hung and will be ready to hunt come Friday and will be back on Wednesday what could be better then that . Bruce

Ive been around here for some time .mostly reading all your post . when my mom and dad come down to chandler from Globe they would be on my computer to look at your posts and pic .They both love your site so much that they got a computer in june . Today my mom was at the store . She was about to leave when she saw a Coueswhitetall.com sticker on the bock of a car being the person she is she went up and asked if he was the one who had the website .he said that it was his wifes . and talked to my mom for awhile . I wonted to say Thank You to Amanda and her husband for takening the time to talk to my mom . She called me as soon as she got home to tall me about her trip to town she was so happy to meet a part of the site she loves to visit . You made my day as much as hers

The antlers in the area I hunt in seen to be larger this year then the past years . and all the deer seem to have gained some weight to .

I started using vortex mimi max broadheads in the mid 80's and have shot several elk deer and hogs and have never had any problem or lost animals from using a mechanical broadhead . these heads cut a 2 inch hole and leave a great blood trail . I had one elk go about 80 yards after the shot everything has been under 40 yards I would not shoot anything but these heads . Congrats on the deer

I agree with you on most of what you said . But the drought is not the number one cause of deer numbers being down . there is a survay on the 3 bar wildlife area dont know where to find it maybe someone here does . the deer in this area are doing very well through the drought why is this ? I dont think the G&F have done enough to address this problem and then to ask for more money Bruce

Its not a matter of money it a matter of why !!! where is the money going and how is it going to be spent !!! seems the G&F has let the deer herd suffer . then there people like you who think its ok . lets throw away some more money !!!! And yes I do complane about gas prices property tax and everything that keeps going up in price. hunting for me is somthing to do with the family with the price of every thing it not cheep . and your right its not the G&f job to make sure I have enough money there job is to manage our wild life dont think there doing a good job . Idont need to save money for a tag dont know where you got that impression . I expect to get my moneies worth glad to see you think you are . the only reason some of you think raising prices is a good idea is you think some wont put in and it will make your odd of getting drown easer .I dont think that real sportsmen like . Im woundering what some of you are thinking . Im glad some of you are have more money then you know what to do with .But a lot of us dont . Lets raise the permit prices to give the g&f more money ? I think they have droped the ball deer numbers are down every where except the fenced in area at 3 bar why is this ? And what makes you think some of us cant afford a longer hunt ? stab me in the back some more !!!!! Ive gone out and repaired gates and fences . picked up trash and built water catches to help all hunters now some of you wont to take it away from me !!!! thanks for all your support .
