Hearing protection for quail hunting
firstcoueswas80 replied to northAZarcher's topic in The Campfire
For muffs, I have a pair of peltor sports that I wear shooting pigeons Dove Quail Ducks etc. They're fantastic. For buds I had a pair of Axil, they are pretty great too as they do Bluetooth as well but I have lost them recently, one down side. -
Any trade interests?

Access fees since they own the land? Absolutely. Landowner tags? Absolutely not. As stated we the people on the animals not the landowner.

I would definitely consider it. It's a big heavy old son of a gun it has a couple of external water leaks, as in freshwater not it gets wet inside when it rains. Definitely could use some TLC but it's warm it's dry everything functions and once you get where you're going it's pretty dang comfortable. If anyone is comfortable towing a 30 ft bumper pool, feel free to shoot me a message and we can definitely talk.

Hmmmmm.... my 30 footer is just sitting in my front yard.....

Some of y'all need to have a look in the mirror. Does everybody here eat every Predator they kill? At least the guy usually donated the meat it's not like he leaves it on the side of the road to rot.

Getting older, messed up my calf muscle a few weeks ago trying to be Juan Soto at my son's baseball practice. Just hit shoulders and traps and did my first mile running since then. Could feel it tighten a little bit but still feel good.

I mean I'd probably back out too if what I went to buy was 7 years older than listed LOL

7 mm Backcountry
firstcoueswas80 replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Most of the backpack guys i know are so OCD with their gear packing it, weighing it etc, would never shoot factory ammo. Not saying it won't happen, but that is niche at best. -

The seven guys that backpack, shoot 5 lb rifles and don't reload are going to be super pumped about this. I predict this is obsolete in 2 years or less. -

Reports I've read say that the casing is steel suggesting it's not reloadable and you'll be limited to factory ammunition? No thanks I'll keep my 28 Nosler.
