Having drawn an elk tag last year my chances are low but I put in for early nine archery, and accidentally Early Muzzleloader cow.

I could be wrong about this, but I do not believe the genes a buck passes on vary based on age. Ie if a small, young buck has great genes, he will pass those great genes on when breeding no matter his age. However, this is based on logic to me, not fact based as I have not researched it.

I'll be turning 33 in July..... I'm just sayin'.........

Dustin (desertmafia) and I had this hunt planned for a while, and it was finally time. It wasn't until 9:40 when Dustin glassed up 3 little piggies. Shortly there after, we were in their living room. As usual, we walked right up on them. Dustin hit the call, and one hung around just long enough to squeeze one of. I hit the sow poorly, but we were able to watch her. Once she topped out, we followed in her tracks and I was able to get lead down range and finish her off. First day hunting with the model 40 and I'm loving it!

I've had 3 ruger 1911s. I was given the Government for a wedding gift from.my.best man. I also have had the commander, and the commander lightweight. I had to sell both of them in thin times.

It's on my short list. I've got a ruger 1911 45, love it.
