7 mm Backcountry
firstcoueswas80 replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Most of the backpack guys i know are so OCD with their gear packing it, weighing it etc, would never shoot factory ammo. Not saying it won't happen, but that is niche at best. -

The seven guys that backpack, shoot 5 lb rifles and don't reload are going to be super pumped about this. I predict this is obsolete in 2 years or less. -

Reports I've read say that the casing is steel suggesting it's not reloadable and you'll be limited to factory ammunition? No thanks I'll keep my 28 Nosler. -
The focusing on the NL Pures is definitely one of if not the only drawback. I do feel you have to focus them more often and I also feel as though the focused wheel is a little bit too smooth I mean you barely touch it with a brim of your hat and you're completely off focus, I never noticed that when I had the els.

Who knows but the pures are the best binos ever made.

Bought some rigid lights, looking to have them installed on my old toyota. Anyone do it and is good at it? Truck is 30 years old, and I'm 99% sure there is a precut spot on the dash for a rocker switch. Looking for someone in Tucson.

$100. I don't know why pictures aren't working if interested in seeing photos send me a message with your phone number and I will text them to you.

I've got some attachments that go into existing holes underneath the hood that mount right in front of the windshield. My brother actually has to modify them because they don't clear the hood but I'm going to use those and then use some sort of rocker panel just an off on switch

OSU looked scary good how easily they destroyed the ducks. I'm on my way to hopefully plow some ducks this morning.

Late hunt question
firstcoueswas80 replied to AZcountryboy520's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
December hunts are the best, IF you can manage expectations. If you expect ri see 110-130s on every hill chasing pu$$y, you will be disappointed. If you expect to see deer being deer with very little pressure and a long season, youll enjoy every second. It took me a couple December hunts to realize the second part. -
This is right handed.

Killer buck But my FAVORITE part is "wasted no time....". Great job.

Late hunt question
firstcoueswas80 replied to AZcountryboy520's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
If there is a hot doe in the area, that is the place to be. All too often, those little guys THINK the does are hot, but they aren't yet. -
Whats the secret? My son finished his class last week and looking for a field day course for him. AZGFD only has courses listed through December. When do they list more courses? This doesn't seem like very many field days. Is there a way to get notifications of new courses listed, or just keep checking back and hoping to find one with open seats for him to attend?

Kick it old school, go with an 89-95 with a 3.0 swap to a 3.4!

Any Tucson electricians? Have a couple things need done at the new house, looking to see if we have any members who do it for work in tucson. Not looking for recommendations, just looking to see if there's any members that do it. We have a pretty competitive bid already but unsure when he is able to do the job. More than happy to pay cash for the job.
