Doubt I can find a job I can tolerate that pays like this one does. Lots of benefits. Not married to the job, but it has a lot of positives to it that would be hard for any other job to match.

No need to get a longer barrel. My understanding is Remington tested the longer barrels and discovered that there wasn't a significant speed loos or gain between 21 and 28 inches. My 870 has a 21" barrel.

I'd worry about the battery too. My ranger battery has been fried by the heat, even with filling the water every month. It will be replaced soon, and I'll be keeping the battery indoors.
