My wife got a rifle 37b tag to hunt with her friend Heather. I was supposed to go with them, but grandma was unable to watch the kids so I stayed home on dad duty. My wife said they stumbled into the pigs as they got to the hill they needed to be at. The pigs didn't spook, just kind of walked off. They got in to position. I was texting my wife, giving her advice. She had said that they could hear them and smell them but couldn't see them. Next thing she texts me "piggie down, 180 yards!" The pigs made themselves visible while the girls were snacking. My wife got behind the AR15 and dropped the hammer! I'm so proud of her.... she might be a better pig hunter than I am!

These have both been listed before. I'll listen to trades, but will likely be a little picky. I'm all set on ARS and hunting rifles. Ruger lightweight commander, great shape. Two sets of grips, original box etc, 2 mags. $650 Colt lightweight commander, TALO, wiley clapp edition. Super sweet gun. Original box, 2 colt mags etc. $850 These are FTF prices. I can ship to ffl on buyers dime.

Doug, yes we eat them. My wife's friend cooked it in the pressure cooker and then shredded it. We have been picking at it over the last few days and it's great!

My wifes friend used the pressure cooked to cook my wifes pig. It's fantastic. -
Looks like the classifieds sheriff is back in town.

Where do you guys see javelina in the evenings most? Sun? Shade? I can only recall killing one evening piggie. Seems to me there is no rhym or reason where they are found.

Killed a GIANT boar the evening of the first day I could hunt in a canyon we've now killed 9 pigs from.

I work until about 0230, and am up by 0800 to watch my son 4 days a week. I've got daddy duty down pat.

She shot it exactly as she sits in the picture. Her friend Heather snapped that picture after the final shot. My wife is watching the boar, making sure it didn't twitch!

My wife and I had that bull under 40 yards twice with no shot... Ran into those guys at the red onion the night they hit him. And herd them start yelling for joy the next day when they found him. Was super excited for those guys. When I talked to them they said they hit a 370 bull. And we got to see the U of A take home a W that night!

Hunting with Glocks and non hunting pistols(pics page 2)

Thats a fact! I hit a coyote this hunt with that same 10mm and he died instantly. Not to sound morbid or weird but I guarantee a large man could not handle being hit the way those pigs got stuck. It was unbelievable how tough they were to get down. Dude where are the coyote pictures and story? That's way cooler then shootig a pig with a handgun!
