Gone.

Just picked this up, great shape, but it is too similar to what I already have. I believe it to be a first generation, so the pattern isn't as pronounced as the newer stuff. $130/shipped.

Whatever the lady has packed me for dinner at work. She never disappoints thats for sure!

Hearing protection for the shot?
firstcoueswas80 replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I have been eyeing those as they are very affordable, especially with the $100 off I have seen on the FB adds. They kind of seem to good to be true. The ones I was supposed to get through insurance were like $2700. The Axils are like $200. -
Reminds me of all the ranches in Texas "over run" with pigs... but want $300+/pig.

Hearing protection for the shot?

I prefer something with electronic amplification. That way you can hear instructions from your partner before/after the shot. -
Your go to shooting platform?
firstcoueswas80 replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
That is a slick looking system, but requires another tripod. I think I will add Arca plates to my 28 Nosler and my sons 7/08. -
Disney lost something like 200 million dollars over the course of a couple years? I wouldn't classify that as a drop in the bucket.

Despicable. You're lucky that engine hasn't exploded 🤣

But how often do you change the oil?

It's been a while, but we had two Hondas a 350 and a 450 and they were bomb proof. Plus they had plenty of power to haul my dad and I around, and we both are/were large dudes. All time 4x4 was awesome, but the power steering upgrade of the more modern quads sounds amazing!
-
Oh I get what hes saying, just don't see any evidence as to what makes him think that in this case.
-
Yeah I know they're designed to haul, but hauling a quad and Hauling a side-by-side are two completely different things. I would think that it would make the wait a maybe be over the amount it's designed for and be way too top heavy to be stable.
-
Not to hijack, but Id love to see that. That seems like it would be SUPER top heavy?

Remington 700 25-06 price drop 720$

Any trade interests, or cash only? -
I've never been skiing, but riding the lift at Sunrise to do the 3D shoot with no snow beneath is quite the experience. As they say, "Don't look down" ( I did).

Coues Deer Rifle Build
firstcoueswas80 replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
That's not bad, I'm able to get 3202 from my 28 with the 180s. -
That woman makes me more nervous than the attempted assassin.

I don't know because its not something I would ever do. I don't think an extra 4" of barrel makes the rifle impossible to pack. But then again, my 28 Nosler has a 26" barrel and a 2" brake, so long barrels don't bother me. -

Might as well use a 7/08 if you're gonna handicap a PRC with a 20" barrel! 🤣 -

28 Nos is the king. -
Score, who cares. Its huge and far more impressive than what 99.99999% will ever see, let alone kill. Jdown, I'm not sure where you are getting your accusation from. Sure looks like sunset and then sundown photos to me. Not sure why you would assume a world class bull shot with a rifle would be left over night. But I am all ears to hear how you formulate that accusation.
