I've always been super impressed with the TTSX and how they kill. Use them in Africa and two different rifles and have used them for the majority of my hunting since I found them. Although now I have switched from them for no other reason than to help at longer ranges period -

Lance, here's my very first group from the gun. The 180 Hybrid at a VERY leisurely 3106 fps. Not even a hint of pressure. Very optimistic after this. This is the first group with the 175 ELD-X at about the same speed. Super pleased with the preliminary load development with the rifle.

So far I like it. The real test will be shooting from field positions as gas goes everywhere! It kicks less then my 257 wby.

Very cool. I did the same when I was younger to buy my 30-06, not something you see very often in today's society. -
I was at Sportsman's today and saw a little pad made by Browning that was basically a 12 by 12 self-inflating air pad. It was really nice. If somebody didn't just steal $500 from my bank account I would have bought it but as of now that dispute has not been handled so I had to leave it. It was really light and rolled up super tight.
