What copper solvent did you use? Did you let it sit? Did you scrub?

scrubbing the bore should have been the FIRST thing you did. Do yourself a favor, pick up jb bore paste and use it and barnes cr10.

Have you scrubbed the piss out of it? Get some jb bore paste. That made my 257wby line new again when I was having issues with it.

How'd your 7/08 shoot with that new brake? Tame that vicious recoil?

The nice thing about 6.5's is you don't have to push those big heavy bullets. Just about any 6.5 is capable of sub MOA accuracy at 600 yards and kills just as well. I don't think I said I HAD to push a big heavy bullet for sun moa accuracy at 600?

I was looking for a 43, then I came across that XDS here. Really like that 43, prefer Springfield pistols, but today 43 is a super sweet carry gun.

For what it's worth, my next rifle will likely be a 6.5 of some flavor. Although, my LRM pushing a 180 Scenar at 3000 with sun moa accuracy past 600 (furthest I've tested it) is going to be hard to move from.

Not a quarter bore, it's a 243.
