Accubond + H4831 and you're set. -
Any idea of barrel twist or have you shot it with anything 68 grains +?

I've got a little down here in Tucson I could let go. I'm going to stick with H1000

Took my wife to pleasant on a busy weekend one summer while she was pregnant. She backed my truck in to get the boat out, then backed in some douche bags truck that needs one of these trucks. I laughed at him, he wanted to throw down, I laughed at him again. He'll probably buy the first truck with this option available.

Zeke- I pissed you off once and I apolgized for it ... can I help on your hunt I'm still waiting to meet your sister, pecker head! -
I WISH my wife called me an idiot. She only calls me way worse than that.

I personally would not use this round past maybe 200 yards. Far too anemic for my tastes. Killing bad guys and zombies, now that's a different story.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think the axis are microdiameter. But yes, the HIT use standard broad heads.

I used Easton axis 300's, with 100 gr slick tricks, right at 480 grains if i remember correctly. 29.5" draw, 72# -

I tried to view my bonus points about an hour ago and it told me there was no record of my sportsmans ID and my birthdate. -

I've got a eberlestock dragonfly. I've had it for I'd say 7+ years. It's getting very worn out but it's been good pack but getting close to time to replace it. I've also got a Badlands 2200 that I love too.

Yep. If you don't have high quality binoculars, I think you're wasting your money. If you're set on a spotter, get the 65.

good lord..... 9 years later....

I would have personally taken that shot no problem. But, the reason I would have is because of confidence in my gear. My set up is quite a bit different than his being 29.5" draw with a 480 gr arrow at 280 fps with a slick trick broad head... a lot more likely to penetrate the chest cavity. If that were my kid, I would have a hard time giving him the green light.

I've shot several hundred .40 sw rounds with excellent results.

Arrows off EBay
firstcoueswas80 replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I lucked out last year and found a dozen of the exact arrows I used in my bow for half price of the shops (Easton Axis 300, not cheap!). Took them to the local shop had them cut, I glued in the inserts myself and they were perfect! I basically wore out, broke, or lost my first dozen so this dozen is what I did the sunrise shoot with and I put two of them through my bull. They worked perfectly! -
Ramshot is not a new powder. I played with it 10 years ago in college. In fact I think I have 3/4 hunter in my reloading room if I recall correctly.

Hunting 36B ,October vs. Early November , can you give some feedback
firstcoueswas80 replied to NYAZHunter's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
You'd be lucky to have a 5° difference in those hunts. Ones scorching, the other is blistering. -
Bulldogs are amazing. We have a old English (half English half American) and she is absolutely 110% bomb proof with the kids. My son has crawled on her since be was 6 months old without rdo much as a sigh. Amazing dogs. Expensive yes, but amazing.
