That is a question that will get a million responses... To be brutally honest, .484 is a very poor BC for such a big .308 caliber rifle. Great hunting round and will kill anything that walk, swims or flys in this universe, but not a great long range bullet, ballistically speaking.

I've got zero complaints about my McMillian Game Scout that is on my 7 LRM. Took a little getting used to as I am used to more sporter/hunting style stocks but I really like it and for as light as it is (my rifle is 7.3# before glass), the recoil of a .284 180 gr bullet at 3060 is manageable enough that my wife chose to use that rifle over my 257 wby for her deer hunt.
