Not a 300, but my dad could probably be talked out of his 7rum for a decent price.
-
Did you read the thread? The hunt is over, picture of the bull on the page before this.

165/168. I'd look for the 165, Barnes tsx or the 168 ttsx -
The 3rd day of the hunt was a rough one for bulls in 9, that's even I killed mine to. congrats on an awesome bull.
-
If you want to use the 223, I'd shoot the heaviest Barnes tsx the rifle will stabilize. I've got a 243 you can borrow if you're interested.
-
If you shoot those small groups and got 7-10 loads per, I'd just go with new Remington or Winchester brass, no need to change.

I had a absolutely outstanding hunt in 9 with Mullins outfitters. Unfortunately, I was not financially able to tip my guide much. I have him and the cook every penny I could while still being able to get home.

I'm planning to scout October 8-11. We found camp together, scout or own areas. -
Is going to talk about the highly over rated scumdevils? After an aaaasssss kicking like that, I don't blame you die hards for keeping quiet.... And before the same Jack off comes on here... Yes, I went to NAU. No, I didn't graduate. No, I never ever went to pima. Yes, I'm a wildcat fan. Yes, they suck.

My left ear is ringing (like always) as I type. My biggest thing I've noticed is I can't hear over background noise. If my wife talks to me and say I'm doing dishes, I have to turn the water off.... of course if she learned to speak a little louder to me, that would help!
-
Nice diversion tactic
-
Maybe it's just me, but I would have expected more from a #15, or wtf they were ranked, hence the over rated......

My unit 9 bull **New pictures and story added**
firstcoueswas80 replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Elk Hunting
Fogger, I believe what Jim was getting at was I was having a blast hunting. I haven't experienced many things as exciting as being 20-50 yards from several screaming bulls. There was never a disappointment of shooting the bull, just disappointed that the hunt ended because I was having a blast! -
Never mind, not worth it.
