    Advice Please!

Did you get his license plate, and his full name by chance? A bill of sale with name and autograph would be rather incriminating evidence.

    New rig

Long range and factory ammo dont usually go together as the consistency isn't guaranteed to be there round after round like it is with reloads.

    .300 Win Mag on Javelina...

For minimum damage yes, shoot a heavier, slower bullet that is not going to explode. For example, a Barnes TTSX or Nosler Accubond over a Ballistic tip, SST, or Ballistic Silver tip. What ever ammo you have on hand will work fine. No need to spend money on another box, and have to re-sight in your gun.

    Duck Dynasty looses Phil Robertson

It will be very depressing if the guys at DD go through with the remainder, and especially if they re-up their contract after losing Phil for executing his 1st amendment right. I find it interesting that yuppies et al can tote the 1st amendment when it is to their benefit, but when something is said that offends them, they turn around on it.

is a 25-06 to much for javelina

Best gun to use for hogalina is your deer rifle, what ever caliber it is! Smaller target, builds confidence. I have killed them with my .257 wby and my .223 and the piggies were all dead as can be! The .257 wby actually caused less meat damage then the .223's although the type of bullets were quite different (TTSX Vs Vmax/Ballistic Tips).

    Rounds for .22-250?

I have killed lots of coyotes with the 50 NBT, also used it on a hogolina this year. Worked very very well for me, think I would use 60's though if just starting out.

    2/2, late November hunt

Ended up shooting this littleGuyFridayr. Glassed him up at 700, wasn't going to shoot him but he kept walking closer! At 400 Yards, i'd had enough and sent a 110 accubond From My 257 wby through his heart. He made it about 10 yards before crashing. Buddy Shot A Mid 70'S Buck In The Horrible Weather On Thursday. Over All An Interesting Hunt. Not Much Pressure, Allot Of Deer, Allot Of Bucks, But Very Very Little Quality To The Bucks....
