My wife and I are in the process of moving, and I am going to need a car that gets very good (looking for minimum of 25 MPG, more like 28-30). I don't really care about condition, miles , auto or manual is fine. Car must MUST be reliable (will see plenty of freeway miles). AC Good tires Affordable. If anyone has anything, let me know.

Unit specific digital maps?
firstcoueswas80 posted a topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I know flatline etc make fantastic maps, but does anyone offer unit specific digital maps? Either loaded into a GPS' memory, or on a memory card to insert into the gps? Many times I have walked to a beautiful area thinking I was alone to have a truck or ATV 300 yards below me on a road. Or, gone over the river and through the woods when there was a road near by I could have taken. -
He's not the guide, so the responsibility is not on him. For $300, it is worth getting bloody... You will most likely learn a lot, and gain a lot of confidence and be able to do it yourself down the road.

My dad suggested I grow one about 10 years ago before hunting season. I hadn't yet killed a deer and he said it was time to mix the luck up and grow a hunting beard.... That year, 3 months before the hunt I quit shaving and finally tagged my first buck! I grew one every year, until 5 years ago when the career I started had grooming standards, so no more hunting beard for me. Damnn you, professionalism.

Make sure you take some stuff to help you sleep on the way there and back.... The travel is exhausting, but well worth it. Remember, vitals are a little bit further forward then our animals. Good luck and soak it up, it gets in your blood and you will want to go back, i promise that.

Who hunts coues with a 30-06
firstcoueswas80 replied to ultramag's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Bryan, Killed my first two deer with a 30-06. Like we chatted about in my living room.. With todays technology and target turrets etc using a 30-06 is not a big deal at all. Load some 150 or 165 Accubonds and have at it!
