I think trading that for a rifle will be hard to do. In my opinion, someone who would really want that gun might not be a hunting guy or a hunting rifle guy. That is one of those rigs that would probably do better on Gunbroker and it might take a while to get rid of.

That one does look tan/yellow kind of like my lab. Never seen piggies like that, but I saw a coatimundi that was every bit as yellow as my yellow lab is!

Man that is a sweet coues rig right there.

SOLD

Brand new in package, never even taken out of the box. Just got this in from the Vortex factory, have a Leica 1200 I prefer. Would consider trading it for, or being part of a trade for a Glock 22, 23, 27 XD or other high quality high cap .40 cal or 1911 pistol. Cameralandny has them for $379.99 shipped, Ill sell this one for $360 ftf/shipped.

Looking to get a new spotter... Need pointers
firstcoueswas80 replied to kazpilot25's topic in Optics and tripods
Agreed with the above. The spotter is for checking "is that eye guard 3" or 5"? Is that a drop tine or a branch? Is that split g2 or not? All the small stuff that can not be seen with 15x and on the cheaper spotters, those small details can not be seen on the higher magnifacation of the cheaper models. Save about $1000 and buy a used Leica. I paid ~$900 for my Leica Televid APO 77 -

Swift Scirocco II
firstcoueswas80 replied to Apatkelley's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Kevin is right, they do trend to open more then a ttsx with keeping near 100% weight retention and deep penetration. Pretty good happy medium between the ttsx and accubonds. -
Swift Scirocco II
firstcoueswas80 replied to Apatkelley's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
They shot very well in my .257 wby and the only reason I did not run with them is because I had a TTSX load that shot about the same group sizes. AND, the only reason I picked the TTSX over the SCII is because I had used them before and had nothing but luck. I still have the Scirocco's on my relading bench, and the touch higher BC they offer as well as a lot of reviews and tests I have been seeing lately has me thinking about switching! -
I've personally killed 6 cats right at the 6 minute mark....they come quick

Old buck, if you don't have great accuracy right off the bat, try shortening your oal. Also, like i posted they tend to do better (accuracy and performance wise) at higher speeds.

Looking to buy locally a Glock in .40 cal. Not looking to pay extreme prices. Dont care about looks as long as it shoots straight and functions properly. Have cash in hand.

I think when I had my 25-06, I was running H4350. I am not 100% certain, but it was accurate.

Don't recall saying anything about anything being from the government, but that's an incorrect ASSumption on your end. -
