  1. I really hope your joking (or drinking heavily) with the ideas you have mentioned!

    Giant bull DOWN!!

One of the first things i noticed was the photo bombing of LAB by the lab! One heck of a bull for sure! Is this his largest set of horns he has grown, by your estimation?

cow elk with. 223 and sheds

Also looks like there might be a few holes in her?

    Wow!

Actually, I managed to get to 4 or 5 games. Granted, that's not a lot but its hard to do much of anything with Wednesday/Thursday off (I lose a decent amount of money from my check if I take the weekends off), trying to spend time with the family, living out of town and planning a wedding. I don't know if you saw it or not, but U of A put 58 points on the board against OSU. You mean to tell me if ASU beat (not just beat, but smashed) a top 20 ranked team that all the Scumdevils on this board such as yourself wouldn't be going apeschit?

    what qualifies?

And, my favorite way to practice is shooting kill zone size rocks just like a hunting situation. Range, read wind, get comfortable, send a round Down range. That has always been my favorite way to practice, and a huge confidence builder

    what qualifies?

don't shoot a ridiculous amount.... Couple thousand rounds a year maybe. (all shooting combined, not just my rifle) but my strongest point is my confidence. I have spent countless hours learning my 257wby, learning the ballistics and developing my drop chart. I spend the time making sure every round is loaded exactly the same.

    what qualifies?

To me, long starts at 700. I've shot that far before, but wouldn't consider taking a shot that far unless everything was PERFECT. I'm very comfortable at 600 and in.

    what qualifies?

You mean a long range "harvester of wildlife" not "killer" Carl! We don't want to give the tree huggers any ammunition or votes for Obama do we? Nope. I think he said exactly what needs to be said and called it how it is! Harvesting is in regards to crops... Corn, wheat. A deer, elk, cow etc is killed so we can eat it!

    Wow!

He still hasn't swallowed the pill that U of A won the national championship in baseball... Been months and he still hasn't found that thread!
  10. With that comment Romney's back is against the wall. Not because its incorrect, not because it was something he shouldn't have been said but because the fact of the matter is that it's TRUE! Added onto that the fact that those 47% will never vote for him simply because they would be worried about their free ride would come to an end! The sad part is there are so many brain washed sheep that I am really worried about where the vote will be.

    Wow!

how does almost beating an SEC team compare to throwing up 58 points in a stomping of a top 20 nationally ranked team?

140 grn barnes tsx in 270 cal.

How did the coues react? I have seen small exits from those bullets with massive internal damage that could not have possibly Been caused by a bullet that did not expand. My theory is that because they hold together so well and don't cause 2" exits like others Many people assume they don't expand because if the small exit hole, yet the Animal dies quickly with massive internal damage. Here is a smallish exit on a coues. That buck was shot at 400 yards and fell over dead. Here is a ttsx recovered from a coues. Scoutm was there to see this buck drop, violently.

    Wow!

Isn't "nogales north" 3-0 with an asswhoopin handed to a top 25 school and a 56-0 win tonight, or am i missing something?
  19. firstcoueswas80

    Wow!

Dang Terry, old school wrestler that's impressive!

Who's gonna be the first to post their elk???

I've already got a week off annual leave scheduled at work my dad and I are heading out next Friday for a week in the woods chasing elk with a stick in string!

Dear G and F: Some food for thought.....

Agree with this. A good friend and fellow member rooted his bicep muscle from his arm this year and can not hunt hunt with a Cross bow for the same reason.

    What's your favorite binocular power/size?

I wish you luck! If you do get a pair developed, let me be the first to offer you A full field test and I'll write you a review etc.

    Colorado high country buck!

That is VERY cool! One of these trips has been on the top of my list for years... The losing the weight and getting in shape (and I wont do it solo) has been the down fall! VERY neat experience and although he may not be the largest buck in the high mountains he is one helll of a trophy! You should be proud, Tim as that is very very cool!
