Two Javelina Bag Limit (under some circumstances)!
firstcoueswas80 replied to 1uglydude's topic in Javelina
And according to the WM's in the field, there should NOT be as many tags as get allocated every year. The commision approves that, not the guys who have boots on the ground, and first hand data from the field. -

Anybody used a SwingBlade knife before
firstcoueswas80 replied to az41mag's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I bought a combo a few years ago of a Outdoor knife and bone saw. I absolutely love the knife. It is sharp, its held an edge etc. I have and use a piranta, but I only use it for skinning/caping. I have a awesome Charles May knife for skinnging/quartering etc, basically all the field work. -
Try the federal premium with the 140 accubond. My 270 is the only rifle I do not reload for (I dont shoot it often), but I dont reload for it because there is no way I could better the factory load! I have shot sevral (probably 5 or more) groups that I could cover with a dime at 100 yards with that load. And the Accubond is a GREAT bullet at that speed!

U of A nor asu will be able to consistently top Oregon our USC for quite some time.

good quality light weight rain gear
firstcoueswas80 replied to naturegirl's topic in Other Hunting Gear
You dont. Its crazy to spend that much on some dang rain gear! I bought a used set that has been wonderful for about $60 or so a few years ago. Its awesome! Its not super duper light weight, but its breathable and quiet. -
Works great, has been used. Literally got it yesterday, tested it out at the range today. Yard and meters model both work great! Original box and paperwork. $260 TYD

That is a good one.... Take as much time off to hunt as possible.... The last and I fought tooth and nail about Christmas day... I won.... Be patient. I didn't kill until the 28th last year. Weather sucked the first week, didn't see decent bucks until later in the hunt. Hit hard and often.

Are you going to go by the first time when they were allegedly 'leaked' or by the time they were purposely loaded online? -

36C Tag Early November
firstcoueswas80 replied to EricTheRed's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
There is always a BORDER patrol check point there on 286 by the elk horn. Along with a lot of hunters on the Elk Horn. It will be ok there. -

So as it sits now (if it gets approved), I could get an archery tag, and then a rifle tag, right since they are different hunts? -
I went hunting with a wise old man (well, I have hunted with him several times) but a few years ago he was looking at the 'wrong' side of a hill. His response was "Deer are where you find them". Because of his wisdom, I respect him very much as a hunter and as a person. About 40 minutes later we were standing over a deer I had shot on 'the wrong side of the hill'.

Looking for help with a GREAT problem
firstcoueswas80 replied to mtn-memories's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
What you need to do is go glassing for lion.. Then you will find the biggest coues and or elk of your life! OR in a loud, clear voice say (so the hunting Gods can hear) that you are hunting elk today.... Then, a 120" Coues will step out. Kill him, then proclaim that you are looking for lions/pigs/coyotes etc and a 370" bull will step out, probably right off the road. -
