For real man? You don't have any idea why it's been left out for so long. Maybe there is a legitimate reason the owner can't get back into the field to retrieve it? Maybe an injury or severe illness or whatever. There are lots of unexpected things that could happen to prevent a hunter from returning to the field to get his/her blind. Justify it as "abandoned" or any way you like to make you feel better, but bottom line is you just admitted that you will take something that is not yours with the intent of using it at a future date as if it was yours. That's theft and that makes you a thief. Period. I see more and more hunters with this "f-you" mentality towards their fellow hunters every year and it's disturbing. Blake, What would you do in this situation if, say it was a $100 bill? Its not yours, but its on the ground...... This is a tricky situation for sure. At some point it is considered trash and litter, but even then, who has the right to remove it? Is say leave it alone but hunt the area.

For those of you hunting or soon to be hunting antelope.. Here is the reaction to an antelope hit slightly high with a 100 TTSX from a .257 wby at 370 yards. Speed when leaving the barrel was just about 3500 fps.

Once I draw my one premium tag, I might start going that way. My dad has an archery tag this year, I think its time to start putting him and my brother in for high percentage bull and cow tags... I like elk hunting, and love elk meat!

When I was 14 or so years old, I saw my first two coues bucks while hunting. My dad and I had them at 250 yards (60" or so bucks). I got ready on a solid cross beam of the fence (Wood, not metal) but sense they were feeding towards us, I elected to let them come. There was a small draw between us and needless to say, they never came out.

Id be willing to agree to increasing the number of tags in the max points pool.

There's definitely something wrong when people with 25-30 points cant draw a ANTELOPE tag, yet someone draws one on their first time applying.... Its not sheep were talking about! The sad thing is there's no such thing as a quick fix, or even a fix in general where everyone/most people are happy. I do tend to think that if someone draws a premium or heavily sought after tag they should be forced sit out of the premium draw for a few years, but that raises the question, how long is long enough?
