Why are there no points showing on AZGFD
firstcoueswas80 replied to Airbusdriver's topic in Elk Hunting
Mine were up, and up to date when I checked about a week ago. -
Gents... Those of you who know me, know I am born and bred from Tucson, Az. As is my fiance and her little girl... A breaking story the other night noted the all too familiar abduction/kidnapping of a little girl from a Tucson neighborhood, but this time it was different.... This little girl goes to school with, and is very close friends with my soon-to-be stepdaughter. She is a super sweet girl, who was at Kylas birthday party last year. Please do all you can, keep an eye out, pray, which ever is what you can contribute to the safe and speedy recovery of this little girl. It would be greatly appreciated, not for me or even us, but for the girl and her family. http://www.kgun9.com/news/local/148384415.html

Unless you purely want more horse power, there is no need to leave the 25-06 at home. The .25 caliber is awesome for our coues deer. I shoot a .257 wby mag which is just a 25-06 on steroids. I have killed 2 coues deer past 525 yards with it. Shoot a good bullet, like a 100 ttsx or a 110 accubond from that 25-06 and you will see deer die quickly. IF you do want to shoot the 300 wsm, I would look at something in the 150 grain area, or a 168 ttsx. I used my 300 wsm in Africa with a 168 ttsx and it was dynamite. I shot several animals that are or near coues deer size and none of them went far. Bush buck, springbok, 2 impalas, all dead right there. Mountain reedbok made it about 75 yards. If you dont reload your self, Id be happy to do it for you.

Also, for the record..... That second coyote isone of the biggest I have killed. Being 6'3 makes that ones size easy to see

Yeah it is..... Brian did it for me.... As you know.... You should see what it does to rabbits and coyotes..... Oh wait, you have

Blind Etiquette

For real man? You don't have any idea why it's been left out for so long. Maybe there is a legitimate reason the owner can't get back into the field to retrieve it? Maybe an injury or severe illness or whatever. There are lots of unexpected things that could happen to prevent a hunter from returning to the field to get his/her blind. Justify it as "abandoned" or any way you like to make you feel better, but bottom line is you just admitted that you will take something that is not yours with the intent of using it at a future date as if it was yours. That's theft and that makes you a thief. Period. I see more and more hunters with this "f-you" mentality towards their fellow hunters every year and it's disturbing. Blake, What would you do in this situation if, say it was a $100 bill? Its not yours, but its on the ground...... This is a tricky situation for sure. At some point it is considered trash and litter, but even then, who has the right to remove it? Is say leave it alone but hunt the area. -

Is the barrel choked (if so what choke), or does is it threaded for tubes?
-
Not to mention get blown away by every Honda driving granny on the road!
-
For those of you hunting or soon to be hunting antelope.. Here is the reaction to an antelope hit slightly high with a 100 TTSX from a .257 wby at 370 yards. Speed when leaving the barrel was just about 3500 fps.

Ill take second in line, if it falls through please.

Apache had it good. I will have a beer in his honor tonight and yours as well. -
refinance your mortgage, that is what i will do. Vantage West refinanced my credit card, and my truck and stomped on the interest rates I already had. I will go see them about doing the same... But, as posted earlier, I will wait until after payday to close my accounts with them. That way they see a chunk of money walk out the door. Im sure it wont matter much to them, but atleast I did my best!

I can reload and develop a load for you

Glassed up a really awesome blonde one (looked like my yellow lab) last year in 36c.... If the wind wasn't HOWLING, I would have taken a shot at him and have him life sized!
-
Is that a 4" GP100?
-
For that money, what kind of glass are you talking too?
-
Looks like a big black dark mature male.... He would make an awesome trophy room addition.

I haven't done a very good job at all updating with pictures as Scott, at Global Destinations Artistry has been cranking out my mounts, but here they are. I am NOT a great photographer of mounts, but here goes... First off, some African animals (obviously, before and after)

What do you guys do with the carp after you shoot them?
