Funny thing is, one of the members here got charged for 4 elk tags, and only applied for 2.

I am almost sure that they do the best that they can. Who are we to assume that they are intenionally 'screwing us' or that its even their fault.... All I know is its a helll of a lot better than when they all used to be combined and the antelope results came out weeks before the first hunt was. I saw, if youre not happy, or are super upset like you seem to be then the answer is simple. Dont give the Game and Fish your money. Apply to a state, who has it figured out or buy land owner tags.

Mine, Sarah got mad at me for not taking her pig hunting with me in feb. I thought she just wanted to go and camp etc and seeings how it was with my good buddy in 36b, and we tend to put some liquor away and talk about stuff the lady in the family shouldnt hear, I wouldnt let her go... when I shot my pig and told her how thick into pigs we were, she was mad.... Told me she wanted to shoot one! I told her well if I would have known that, you would have had first shot! And she now wants a carry weapon to carry in her purse all the time! Awesome!

We got engaged on an elk hunt, 40 yards from a dead cow elk my brother had just killed.... She knows where hunting ranks.

buckshot is lead shot, steel shot is what is used for duck/waterfowl hunting. 30" is good.... at say, 70 yards or so. Mine, is about 18" at 40 yards.

#4 should do it for sure! But, just like finding a load for the rifle, you have to/ or at least should test several chokes and loads to see which pattern best. I like the Remington load, and the copper plated Federal. Gearsnagger had said that a cylinder works well, I haven't tested that theory buy I probably will sometime.

12 guage helps with that alot, especially if they are in and out quick.

Im assuming (and HOPE) its my dad, he applied for a early archery tag with 8 points, where as I applied for a early, trophy muzz tag also with 8 points.

You can get a December tag about once every 5 years.... Yet still hunt coues deer ever year.
