buckshot is lead shot, steel shot is what is used for duck/waterfowl hunting. 30" is good.... at say, 70 yards or so. Mine, is about 18" at 40 yards.

Lucky SOB! A elk tag, antelope tag, coues tag and a wedding would be my ultimate year!
-
Not really, thats pretty spread out. Unlike with wing shooting, you want a small, condensed pattern. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carlson-Dead-Coyote-Extended-Ported-Choke-Tube-for-Mossberg-835-12ga-NEW-/290691367131?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43ae8e40db#ht_500wt_922

#4 should do it for sure! But, just like finding a load for the rifle, you have to/ or at least should test several chokes and loads to see which pattern best. I like the Remington load, and the copper plated Federal. Gearsnagger had said that a cylinder works well, I haven't tested that theory buy I probably will sometime.

12 guage helps with that alot, especially if they are in and out quick.

Im assuming (and HOPE) its my dad, he applied for a early archery tag with 8 points, where as I applied for a early, trophy muzz tag also with 8 points.

Wait for occasional December hunts or early hunts often?
firstcoueswas80 replied to Flash's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
You can get a December tag about once every 5 years.... Yet still hunt coues deer ever year. -
Just talked to my dad and one if us is going elk hunting!
-
Yep, 4831 sc was my go to powder
-
Its back up.... But no draw results.

IMHO, the best tripod out there is no longer made. Velbon Chaser series. I am as tall as you, and can use it in just about any seated position, but not standing. But its great, light enough to be easy to carry yet stable enough in the winds.
-
Unfortunately, I wouldnt know that feeling!
-
I had a dream last night I entered a 'must be present to win' drawing for an Antelope tag... I won and was happier than a running back who just broke a 60 yard touchdown run to win the super bowl!
-
That crappie has a nice battle scar!
-
Doesn't look like the same one to me. Both are nice 3 points, but don't look the same.
-
If you werent a midget, Id think about about it....
-
As far as I know, nothing. 8 points for elk, 10 for goats.
-
130 or 140 TTSX/TSX (Im not sure if they load in both weights or not) or the 140 Accubond, but I would opt for the TTSX/TSX route first.

He definitely was thinking he was all big and bad, but I had a feeling he was going to cave!

I remember sitting next to some dude in December glassing for deer who was SOLID on his stance that this buck would not be taking place of one of his mounts..... Any idea who that was Phil?

ends up there is still a light at the end of the tunnel for me. My old man only checked online, and hasn't called. From what I'm reading hear they won't show up online yet. fingers crossed. Come on early muzzleloader
-

-
Lance, my card hasn't been hit yet, so my dad and I eel take your extras
-
Of course not, and I'm not saying this dude isn't guilty, but human nature is to point the finger at someone else to get attention off of oneself. Not advocating, our defending the alleged cheater at all, I just find it fishy that the guy looked in someone else's boat because he saw him the day before at another lake.
-
So, did someone look in the guy who turned him in's live well, since he was obviously at saguaro the day before as well?
