I just spent Friday-now in 36b. We saw a total of about 110 or so deer..... 6 bucks. Saw 45 does on Friday. No bucks. Saw 27 does Saturday. No bucks. Saw about 25 or so deer Sunday, 5 bucks. Saw 11 deer today, one little spike.

Copper plated #4 buck does work well, but can be hard to find at times. If im going for coyotes mainly, #4 buck it is. If im going for fox/cats BB (all 3 inch loads) gets the go ahead.

Saw two little bucks feeling their oats yesterday. Hopefully, it starts soon because between friday and saturday I saw 72 does, and another 25 or so yesterday all in different areas.

Not defending those guys one bit.... But they weren't shooting from what azgfd defines as a 'road' (unless bits changed in the past few years)

Id buy a pair for 10-15x50 Duovids... Esecially after the trip they took when I ate $hit last hunt!

Chris, I know what you meant. Just because its a 3 week hunt, doesn't mean I have 3 weeks to hunt. Some of us have highly important jobs.... Lots of time can be hard to get off. Especially with m senority. At this time of the year. Why don't you come out and put your 4x4 finding skills to use for me? Birddog, where at in the unit are you going to be? Maybe we can camp together.

The belly of my gun, my Uncle Mikes sling, and my backpack all will contain ammo..... Rifle is staying in the back pack though... Hope we dont kick out a toad while hiking... I will never forgive myself! I keep seeing a monster buck jump out while hiking, me ripping the rifle from the scabbard, and moving the turrets a solid 3/4 turn or so, to cleanly miss the buck by a mile.... Scarry dream!

As a rule of thumb, I don't usually help people too much when their first post is asking for honey holes. But as a fellow Lumberjack, and December tag holder I will offer what little I know. PM me and I will tell you what I have found, while out there working.

I think everyone is being a little too hard on quads. Just like people saying guns kill people.... Its the operator. I own and use two 4x4 quads but you'lll never find me riding them off road. Sure, I'll ride around at all times of the day looking for new areas to glass etc.... Helll, every once in a while I'll even see a deer from my quad but I'm not hunting. If people used quads/SxS's for their intended purpose (to/from hunting area and for packing out downed game then the world would be a better place.... Of course, that would take morals and ethics from most....

Well, my yellow lab, Charlie got to my Olde English Bulldog (half English half American bulldog) and we just got the final word that she is pregnant for sure! At first, I thought these dogs were just muts and was basically going to give them away. After some research, they sell for up to $900... I am not looking to make a dime on this litter, just recoup costs. The dogs are going to be born around December 3rd, and will be between $250-300 or so. There probably wont be too many of them, and one is sold so let me know ASAP. Search "Bullador" on Google.
