    ruger 1911

I understand about the safety issue, but my personal thought is if youve never had a issue, and you dig the gun why get rid of it? I've read alot of negatives about Kimbers... feeding, accuracy, QC etc etc.... Although I've only had 3 of them, my 2 rifles were/are accurate as all get out, and I have never desired anything from my 1911. Feed perfectly, shoots straight and is a joy to shoot and carry.

    243 Bullets

Also make sure that you scrub the barrel really well before you start shooting those Barnes... The dont like to be shot on top of other bullets for some reason. Sounds weird, but trust me on that one!

Need a person to help me at outdoor store

I would be interested in helping out, it just depends if I can get the days off, which would make it hard/impossible for me to commit

    243 Bullets

If it were me and I was going factory ammo I would get the TSX as well. Bullets/ammo is the cheapest yet one of the most important parts of the hunt.... Dont go cheap on it as it truly can make the difference!

I believe I used to work with his wife at Albertsons when I was younger. Is his wifes name Vicki? Regardless, prayers sent.

I should be. I have been having Monday off pretty regularly. Plus, I'll be hunting the unit and you and I have been meaning to hook up for a while anyways.

Who Drew The Tag of a Lifetime?

EBB, I would be there for your hunt in a second but will be on my own tag... Let me know if you want some help scouting and myself, my lab, and my Leica binos and spotter will be there!

Who Drew The Tag of a Lifetime?

Come on Casey, "all the shots"? Try selective shots. Can we all say thread highjack? I'M the highjacker? Get a life.

Who Drew The Tag of a Lifetime?

Its ok, I deserve that and Chris uses the computer to take all the shots he can at me.... Chris, I will be switching up tactics this year and trying to gain positive karma.... The hunt is mentioned, it is out there and I am going to try my best to not bring it up. Congrats to you and Larry for your October tags in 33. I will be out there in November with my little brother trying to find him a buck as well.

Who Drew The Tag of a Lifetime?

Not a super rare tag, but with only 40 being offered, I'll call it limited entry... HOPING to not have a repeat of the last time I hunted December in 36b!

    GMX by hornady

Those TTSX do have a internal heat sinker. Somehow, one big (105" type buck) managed to escale my 257 wby last season.... TWICE! Once by Girlygirlhunter and once by me (at 700 yards, thought he was dead the way he reacted). The video of the buck I shot was posted here and he dropped so fast he would have given himself whiplash had he been alive. That is the same exact reaction from all but 3 of my animals in Africa from the TTSX. They are scary accurate and hit like a ton of bricks. A wonderful bullet!

I fthe TTSX shoot, dont switch. Theres no need. I managed to keep 3 TTSX in animals last year and each one is as perfect as the pictures look.
