Great job Cody! Thats a biggun! -
To me, from the outside looking in... Who gives a schit? A nice bull was killed. Congrats to the hunter. There is contreversay around it... BIG surprise. Someones a liar, someones telling the truth, or they both have lies... In the end, who (especially others who arent envolved) gives a rats asss? I now I dont! The hunter has a beautiful bull hanging in his house. Congrats to him. Bury the jealousy, and go find a big bull to shoot!

Awesome! Thats a very nice bear! -
I was at Lake Pleasant this weekend too... Some intelligent people around us decided to have a fire in the 40+ MPH winds, not to mention them being restricted...

I found out recently, a very good friend of mine, and agent from my statio is sitting in a hospital induced into a coma on life support. Agent Garza, 21 years old, tall, skinny, fit, suffered one possibly two heart attacks last week during our annual firearms qualifacations. Agent Garza is a very close friend of mine, and it kills me to know he is laying in a hospital bed, fighting for his life. There is an Agent sitting by his side 24 hours a day to offer spiritual support. Agent Garza is the main income, a home owner and provider for his mother and 2 sisters, a lot of responsibility to carry for a 21 year old young man. I ask that all of you that are of faith, and those of you whom are not please keep Agent Garza in your thoughts and prayers. I have attended too many LEO funerals lately, and I do not wish to attend one of a very close personal friend as well. Thank you all in advance.

To all whom sent thoughts and prayers. On behalf of Josh and myself, I would like to send my most sincere gratitude. Josh is currently released from the hospital, and is expected to make a full recovery, including returning back to work. Thank you all.

All, I, as well as Josh appreciate the prayers. Please keep them coming. I was just informed of a few things. When this happened, it is belived his heart went with out blood for 10 minutes, and his brain went with out for 20 minutes. At this point, we are just hoping he doesnt have serious permanent brain damage. On a happier note, I was informed that he opened his eyes on his own yesterday. A step in the right direction, yet a marathon left to go to recovery.

I do think a ring tail would look very good mounted around one of those. Thats a great idea. -
+1 Never seen a tweeker carrying around a torch... Doesnt take that much heat to cook their dope! Sounds to ME like it might have been someone who knows something about the house.... Who RANDOMLY takes a torch on a robbery? Someone who knows there is a safe in the house, THATS WHO!

Congrats Mike!

No wonder its a solid 2" bigger than mine! That thing is a beast, although the mount makes it look like its part Gerenuk!

breaking in a barrel
firstcoueswas80 replied to Mr. Jonathan's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Yer, use nyloy brushes... Would you use a toothbrush, or a bbq brush to clean your car/truck? Lots of people think you dont need barrel break in... I am 50/50. I usually clean after every shot for the first 10, then after every 3 shot group for the next 5 groups. After that, its game on. -
That buck is AWESOME! Looks alot like the younger cousin? brother? of a 130+" buck that was killed up near Payson on the Extreme Coues DVD! That buck would be a brute if he made it another 2 years or so! ( I wouldnt let him walk!)

Beau, We need to go scouting... I like the way you think!

It is a good site and has a lot to offer... Since it is not prime time calling right now, be patiet and see if you can snag a Scorpion for around $200 or so... You should be able to do it.

Very nice! Is that a mountain reedbok there? If so, that thing is a BEAST!

It looks great, Doug! I like the piece of wood you mounted him on, looks great!

They will work, but if I was you I would swing over to Predatormasters.com and buy a used Foxpro Scorpion. They work awesome, (I have one and have killed 100+ predators with it) and they arent that expensive. They work really well in thick to semi thick cover, but arent the best for really open ground.

These are great bows... I have one as well and they are awesome! Mines not as fast as yours, but they are smooth shooters!

"Sue the government" You know, I'd be willing to bet that a vast majority of the stolen vehicles that are recovered, get recovered by government employees....
