    Use for a Mountain Lion

Personally I would not eat it. I have heard its great but I don't think I got the stomach for it. Its weird enough for me to see an animal of that size as white as a chicken. I think its a mental issue for me. And would I cut it? Yes sir, I would. I have before and would do it again. Bear and lion I just can't imagine eating but to each their own. If you're into new things, shoot, try it. -Jeremy- A few years ago, (2006) I killed my lion in February. That deer season as we had a CWT bbq down south, I made stew with 1/2 elk roast, and 1/2 lion meat. I wouldnt tell everyone what the meat was, but they absolutely loved it and said it was some of the best they had (not knowing it was lion). Of course when I told them they were eatting lion the flipped out but couldnt rave about it enough before hand. If you dont want the meat I will GLADLY take it off your hands!

Got an armored truck for your Sonora hunt?

Tony, Please dont take this personally but your attitude about the dangers of Mexico remind me of a 18 year old kid (aka myself or any hormone filled teenager). You seem to have this attitude that you are bullet proof and the dangers in Mexico are a myth because you travel once a year back and forth and are yet to have a problem. Now, I know you are smarter than that but come on man... All it takes is one bad experience and it not only is a bad experience, but possibly leaves you dead! Please, quit the ostrich like mentality and open your eyes. Again, I mean that in all due respect, but everytime something comes up about Mexico you seem to think it is all a falicy and there is no danger down there unless you are "a member of the Mexican Army, a Mexican law enforcement officer or a member of a drug cartel". Innocent have and commonly do get killed over there for no reason. BTW, "The fact that I look Mexicana probably helps a bit, too." You just said you look a bit like a Mexican woman/girl.

BP id bet. The best way to obtain info is to ask an agent in the field. Describe where you will be and he/she should be able to answer your questions.

Best Offroad/ Hyway tires for Coues Country

I have had very good luck with the Nitto Terra Graplers on my truck. I drive a 07 Dodge w/Cummins so they are load range "E" with the thick sidewall and are I think like 34.9" tall from the factory. I have done very well with them going through some semi nasty roads this past weekend on my brothers hunt and never spun a tire.

Taking out my first youth hunter!

I have taken lots of people out hunting, from different walks of life... But never have I had the chance to take a youth hunter. Well, that will all change a week from today.. My little brother asked me to buy him a license and deer tag and take him out. So, next weekend he will have a tag in his pocket and *hopefully* a itchy trigger finger!! My .257 wby will be the rifle of choice, and I cant wait for him to touch one off! Watch out spikes/forks!!
