firstcoueswas80 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Fishing
My dad. Is this a CWT tourny, or anyone on any websites.... (Amanda, you know the site I am asking about) -
Why not replace the Kimber you had... You know I have nothing but positives to say about the Kimber 300 wsm I took to Africa.

Back from World Cup! Did some hunting
firstcoueswas80 replied to Joshy25's topic in Hunting in Africa
Nicely done on the hog! I was set up on one, but he went through the wrong opening in the bush. Did you get any more animals? -
I also have a ancient M94 30-30 I got from my gradpa when he passed. I have shot it and used normal rounds and they worked just fine, and were shot quite well. I think that if anything, the barrel would be better than now. Granted, the technology was nowhere near what it is, but they made things correctly and how they were supposed to be made.

I bought a new truck about a month ago. It has Goodyear Wranglers on it. Nice tires, but too much of a street tire for my liking. (Found Nitto Terra Grapplers for a good price.) Need to seel these bad boys. I would say they are (2) at 90-95+% They look brand new! The two on the back are older and look to be 60-70% give or take. I do not know mileage on the tires as they were on the truck but are in great shape. Based on the two being like brand new, I woud like to get around $450 for them OBO. (Always listening to trade offers!!) Front (good) tires Rear tires

Update on this: One got a hole in it about a week ago, so I not have three good tires, and a brand new set on my truck. Pick them up with $250 in hand and they are yours.

I would DEFINTAELY stay way away from the 6.5-20. If I were in your spot, I would look for a simple 3-9 or 3.5-10 something in that range.

32 shots in 45 mintues... You might be doing SERIOUS damage to your throat/chamber/barrel FYI.

Leica Geovids or 15*56 swarovs
firstcoueswas80 replied to TREESTANDMAN's topic in Optics and tripods
Neither. Duovids. I have never felt the need for a 15x rangefinder. Plus, the warranty on them suckes because of the built in electronics. Personally, I tested the Swaros vs the Duovids before I bought the Duovids and I thought the Swaros had a weird blue hue to them, and I overall liked the Duovids much more. Especially since they are two in one! -
Party at Jim Reynolds' house
firstcoueswas80 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Get-togethers!
Larry, Jim and Amanda just called me and asked that you not attend. They don't need any more smart asses to attend. So, I take it you're not going then? Guess I am not invited anymore!! With the entertainment I provided a couple of years ago, I thought my invitation was always standing! were you ever??? -
A couple of days ago my house was SURROUNDED by black.... Probably 80%... but of course not a drop of rain!
