Yesterday, Monday the 17th parked next to me infront of Supercuts near Albertsons at Ina and La Cholla. White GMC probably mid 2000's model.

Bought a house in September too... Need something with fewer miles. Nothing wrong with this truck, just time for something new

Time to upgrade trucks. I have for sale my truck I bought in college. It is a 1997 GMC 1500. 4x4 5.7L Vortec runs strong! about 149,500 miles AC was replaced last April, compressor took a dump before I left for Africa so that was replaced again under warranty. Rebuilt tranny (didnt need to be, it was a mis-diagnosed fuel pump problem) New fuel pump/filter Brakes and fly whell replaced at 100000k 15" Eagle alloy wheels 35x12x15 BFG AT's with probably 60% left on them. 6" lift (rancho I think, lifted when I bought it) K&N filter Brand new headlights Aftermarket dual exhaust Complete with CouwsWhitetail.com sticker Truck is rough around the edges. Has a few places where the paint is peeling (what Chevy doesnt). One dent on the driver door where the previous owner opened the door into a pillar at a gas station. The interior does have some stains and the driver side seat is starting to VERY sowly leak filling. The truck runs like a champ and has never left me stranded. Trying to get $4,200 KBB has it nearly $5,000. If sold here, a portion will go to Amanda. http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/PricingRep...pePath=Trade-In untitled.bmp

Winchester model 70 caliber 30 06 into something else

Leave grandpas rifle as it is! Trust me, that is something you will for ever regret. Keep it the same, and if you want something "sexier" then buy another rifle. My most valued rifle is the one my grandfather hunted all over North America with. My dad used it to take his first Elk, and me my first Mountaion Lion. Trust me, you will regret breaking grandpas rifle down from what it is/was. -
It didnt meet my expectations.... It surpassed! You know how well they took care of us, and the hunting was awesome!

Nice pictures dude! Thanks for having me commit to it long ago. It was a blast! Glad the .257 took good care of ya! -
and no scull shoots. Attaboy Casey. that last monkey looks like he took one in the ear hole. Nope! In the neck, just above the shoulders. I hit the other babboon in the same spot... It turns their lights out very very quickly. Those African animals did not like the TTSX at all! I could not believe how the southern hempishpere has some sort of automatic cruise control for the bullets! I kept explaining to Andrew how I dont usually shoot like that... He was surprised!

My taxidermist will be smiling with joy when he gives me the bill! Just got home from my last day of work for two weeks!!! -
These are good shotguns. Used to sell a bunch of them when I worked at SW. I had one guy on my second day selling guns come in and buy three!
-
First of all, if you want a "1000 elk or coues rig" and you only shoot 100-200 rounds a year you need to atleast triple the amount of rounds you shoot. There is no way in helll you can consistently kill out to 1000 only shooting 5-10 boxes of shells a year! I shoot more than that on a dozen coyotes every winter!

Brent, I am not sure what you mean by this.... Are you trying to say that the Feds (BP) doesnt already target the drug smuggling? That its not looked upon seriously? -

Considering the job I have, I have had many a conversation with people. A girl I literally I have know all my life (I am almost 25, I have known her about 22,23 years!) Anyways, her baby daddy/boyfriend is a Mexican-American named Jorge *****dez. She invisions this bill as him, her, and their daughter walking down the street minding their own business.... A cop sees he is brown/of Mexican descent and for no reason at all asks him for his citizenship and his ID. If this were the case, than yes it would be racial profiling and racist. This is not how I see this bill working! Also, people seem to assume this only applies to people or Latino/a descent... Do people not understand they are not the only immigrants and come here illegally? The fact of the matter is (from my understandind) this bill doesnt change much... Before, if police came across a suspected illegal alien all they had to do was call USBP to get an immigration inspection done. Now, they can perform it themselves and cut out the middle man. All that people who are here legally have to do is provide proof of ID and or citizenship/immigration papers (which are required to be carried at all times), prove they are legal and go on with thier day! -
Remington Model 7's are great guns period! I might try to hunt one down in .243 as a coyote rig when not carrying the AR!

I am a firm believer that the scope base being bedded to the action helps alot. My base on my .270 wsm and .257 wby is bedded to the action and I think that helps. Maybe not a bunch, but I do think it helps.

Just counted, I have 51 rounds of 308 Norma, and about 10 300 win man
-
Came across (was given to sell) some 308 norma and 300 H&H rounds. All (I believe) are handloads with what appears to be 180 Nosler Partitions. All are in good shape and there appears to be about 50-60 rounds. $50, picked up from Tucson or Casa Grande

Lark, I use the 308 for simple reasons. 1st and foremost it's increadible accuracy. 2nd, I like to shoot ALOT. I go on binges where I will go to the range 6 or 7 times a week and then I might go 3 months where I only have gone 3-5 times in 3 months. The point is that since I like to shoot that much I require good loooooong barrel life. The 308 offers me both. After owing not one but 2 300 RUM barrels and burning them both out in short order I have scrapped the idea of flat shooting cartridges. With the advent of good laser rangefinders, I could care less about flat trajectories. What I do care about is extreeme accuracy and windage. Flat and wind drift dont always go hand in hand. Lazz inc. always bragged about how fast and flat his 308 warbird shoots and he is right, it is super fast and flat. However the wind drift of the light bullets he uses SUCK for wind drift. I have a 308 load with a super high BC (.648) that is 900 FPS slower than the 308 warbird yet has more energy AND less wind drift at 1000 yards despite dropping alot more. I also use a 338 Edge for serious long range hunting. This one offers the same trajectory as my 308 but with bullet BC's approaching .800, the windgae is rediculously small and hits like a pile driver. These two calibers work very well for me. Both my 308 and 338 have the same make and model stocks and similar weights so they feel the same on the firing line. I do most of my practice and hunting with the 308 and when I have a really large heavy or very tough target such as elk, moose and mountain goats that need 86ing, the 338 is called upon for duty and does it's job very well. When there is a sheep or deer that need lead treatment at potential distances of 1/4 to 1/2 mile, the 308 goes with me. Since most of the critters I chase around are sheep, deer, black bears, caribou and wolves, I spend most of my hunting time with the 308 in hand. It is my most trusted rifle and I am EXTREEMLY profficient, confident and comfortable with it. Besides, everything about it is designed for speed. I dont get traditional velocities out of it. I get ALOT more. Hope that helps! I remember the story of you shooing at something like 85+ degress STRAIGHT DOWNHILL.... I quit questioning whether or not you could shoot after that! That made my 625 one shot one kill on a coyote with my 270wsm seem easy!

They look pretty bad asss to me! Might have to stick a pig in Jan. with one! -
Trying to get a dog out of my line of sight while lining up on a Coues buck! Probably the worst thing is A. Other people walking ridge lines blindly while trying to glass them. B. People (crowds in general). C. Wind D. Running out of Crown Royal and/or Pepsi before the hunt is over!
