Huntinfool and I went out today to test out the new Scorpion. Well, apparently, it works well for him as we called in two dogs, and he killed them both! First stand. Get there nice and early. Hurry up and wait early. Walk about 400 yards in from the road. Wind is perfect, sun will be coming up behind us (we are back to the truck before it crests the Santa Ritas behind us). Just about 6 minutes on the dot, the first dog comes darting in! I raise up my AR, and yip 3 or 4 times trying to stop her. She never stops and I dont have a clear shot. She makes a perfect "U", and runs straight away from Jake, and he rolls her. She was running straight away and we couldnt find a mark on her! We think he hit her in the back leg, because it was broke but there wasnt a mark in, or out of her! And he was using a .243! Next few stands were dry. On this stand, we again had the wind and the sun just right. We were set up on a brushy draw, him on one side, me on the other. ( I picked the wrong side). About 9 minutes in, Jake sees the cows acting weird. He sees the second dog sneaking in at about 50 yards. Dog puts his head down, and Jake smokes it! This dog was put on a silver platter! In the open, 50 yards, broadside not moving... Needless to say, I am jealous!

Gotta agree with you on the shoulda coulda, Thats how they always loose big games. In heart breaking fashion. I kinda knew from the start how it was going to go down (like it always does), so I didnt put too much faith in the Cats. They did play pretty well though, Oregon was just the better team. Guess I mean expensive as they are the most $ I have dished out for a rifle scope. Maybe I like the price tags of Leupolds because getting them slightly for cheap is no big deal. I just put a Leupold on my Kimber 300 wsm, and my Ar, paid less than $400 for each of them.. I paid $725 (with adding turrets) for my Zeiss on my .257 wby, and that was a good deal on the scope! Plus, the one Zeiss cost the same as what my mortgage payment is!

I would want my skull back... Then, i would give an asss whoopin' for free! People like that shouldnt get off the hook that easy, they desereve a scar or two to remind them.

Rates are pretty good... I got 5.357% when I bought my new house.

Almost Casey. X50 my friend. And they are very reasonable for the quality. Get the x44 where you have to send it to Zeiss and have them put the turrets on it, and you will see. Those turrets blow the ones away that come on the target scope. And I have one in x50 and prefer the 44

I liked the bowtech not a bad bow at all. I didn't like the cable thing it looked awkward. I shot several bows before I picked the alphamax. the alphamax just "felt" good to me. I am sure your wife said that about you when you guys first met...

4.5-14x44 Zeiss is about the best scope there is out there. Expensive, but awesome. I have two.

With my 107, I have packed out 4 coues, 1 pig, and Scottboy's elk quarters. Plus the weight from my pack, plus my rifle. I absolutely love the pack! It rides comfortable, has more than enough room, and is quiet! The only improvement I would do is add better padding to the straps! Plus, I got mine when I worked at Sportsmans Warehouse, so it was half price

Nicely done! I dont think the buck will make it in the 80's as he has no eye guards. I think low 70's is more like it. With 3" eyeguards, he would probably make it in the 80's

Dont do Chavez siding, there will be a million and one people, believe me. What hunt do they have (assuming the Thanksgiving hunt). Also, what days will they have off? I might be able to out for a day and help get a buck.
