Thanks guys! Ernesto thats not the same buck. Matt, thats my end, you packed out the half that looked and smelled... Well, like you! -
Lesnar for sure. Only reason Mir won last one was because Lesnar made a rookie mistake. Did you see Mir's face after a short beating? IMO, I dont see Lesnar getting beat for a long time, unless it is by "rookie" mistakes.

Party at Jim Reynolds' house!
firstcoueswas80 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Get-togethers!
Ssshhhhhh! I promised a certain CWT member that is too large for the small sportquad he was riding that I would not let the cat out of the bag over that incident. Its not a bad trail on a 4 x 4 quad with a CVT, but a few spots are a bit tricky for a manual clutch machine. I dont know what/who you are talking about there Sir! Unfortunately, I wont be able to make it this year. My girl friend is the Maid of Honor in one of our friends weddings that same day! PS, if I had MY quad, I would have been good to go! Atleast all got a good laugh out of it, right? Sorry Bro, It wasn't too funny at the time. Don't want to see anyone get injured At least you are strong enought to have kept that quad off the top of you. If I flipped my quad,I would probably be crushed under almost 900lbs. Ouch! Yeah, that quad flipping back on top of me would have been a fun experience. Did anyone happen to see Scottyboy? I think he about ran out of air he was laughing so hard! -

I assume these would be the FL's? With Fluoride in them? If so, they are some awesome awesome binos!

Full legth or neck sizing???
firstcoueswas80 replied to lionhunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I always full lenght size. I have yet to run into a problem with brass life. Some of my 270 wsm brass is on its 4-5 time, and some 257 wby stuff is on its 3-4 time. Gamehauler hit the nail on the head, you might have to crank the sizing die down 1/4-1/2 of a turn after a few reloads to bump the shoulder back. How you can tell, is you will have one heck of a time closing the bolt on the loaded round. I found that out the hard way with my .270 wsm. -
Dad and I never subscribed, but I have spent over $1,000 at Outdoorsmans so I think that might have something to do with it.

Winchester Model 70
firstcoueswas80 replied to cohofishing's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
'Tis a good stock. I believe that is the model that I have on my .257 wby. I know I have a B&C, not sure on the model though. Not super light, not super stiff, but light and stiff enough. Good stock though. Of course, it isnt a McMillan, but nothing is! -
Atta boy big dog! Didnt get to shoot the AR on Saturday. Will have to try and sneak out and do it sometime this week so that we can go get after em on Sunday. Thanks for stopping by the party, Jessi enjoyed you and the wife's company!

Suggestions for a new rifle scope
firstcoueswas80 replied to Rio's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
4.5-14x44 Zeiss with turrets is the only way to go. I have a 4.5-14x50 with turrets on my 270 wsm and love it, but like the turrets that Zeiss installed on the 4.5-14x44 platform. Awesome scope and true to 0. -
Been here 24 years next month, only seen one! Go figure, the only one I have ever seen was about a week aftr we had a thread going here where I said I had never seen one!

firstcoueswas80 replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
That coule be interesting. I would need to see pictures of the quality of deer from the ranch, not just the property.
