Mule deer are bigger, they have more meat. bigger horns, and they are just way more challenging and delicious than all these doggie sized Coues Deer that everyone seems to get so excited about. Just because you can blindly stumble into a nice buck, doesnt mean coues are easy! Do it again next year. I dare ya!

Awesome deer! I love that second buck, what a character/toad combined into one!!

I just got back from setting up half of my camp and I am STOKED!!! I even got to see a couple of deer on the way out!!! I am on vacation for the next 7 days! Woohoo!

One thing you will need to make sure of: Barnes TSX and TTSX boolits do not like being shot on top of (after) any other bullet. When you start developing loads for the TSX, make sure your barrel is clean. No powder, no copper. Nothing. Shoot 2-4 foulers, THEN start for groups. Isn't that right Scout'm?

DD, believe me from personal experience... You are more than welcome to post it up, but keepin in mind several thousand people have access to what you have written. I would imagine giving the pup a antler to use as a chew toy. As the pup gets older, I would play fetch with the pup and an antler using a lot of encouragement.
