Badlands 2800???
firstcoueswas80 replied to coueschaser3's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I would take it to a seamstress and tell him/her what you want done. Should be cheap, quick, and easy! -
If you are reloading for the 130 BT, back of 3 grains from max, and work up until you find your max. The TSX is supposed to be able to run at higher pressure with out pressure signs (hence, allowing for more powder and speed). That is the design behind the grooves in the bullet.

Very nice! I would break my .257 wby in on that buck as well! Very nicely done!

Yep. Jonoathon Crocci at WGP. Used to be owned by a old man named Harold who was a security guard at my high school... I believe Dickman's and Sausage Shop still butchers deer, dont they? (if they do, I know they are about double the price of WGP)

He looks really good! What I like to call bucks like him are 'toads in training' -

Man, he grew alot! Looks like his G3 on his left side is actually pretty decent! In two years he should be real nice! Did you see him at all during the hunt, or scouting besides on the cam? -
Bryan, when we knock one or two down, you and I can take a trip into the processors in Tucson. I usually skin em, bag em, then wrap a tarp around them with a foot or two or space to keep the sun off of them... If we kill it in the morning, let it sit and take it in the next morning.. Have never ever had a problem, and we have done this with about a dozen deer, during all different seasons minus the archery.

Check out Hornady's LeverEvolution. -
If you reload, that 7STW is a barn burner! Doesnt run with the 7RUM by a couple hundred FPS, but it uses less powder.

Very nice Gino! That 3x4 has some nice mass! -
Very nice! It looks like there is only half of a goat there, did the coyotes get to it before you could find it?
-
Hes not jokin, at all! I went over there today about 1600 hours.. He STILL looked like crap!

I have had the same pair of Danners for about 3 years. They will be retired after this year however. But I love them. Lots of miles, lots of blood!

Gino, I think the 10x42 is as close as you are going to get. -
HOLY ISH!!! Any idea what happened? Gotta love how fast all the bystanders came to help!
-
dang, thats one heck of a reponse there! I dont think it can be said any better than that... Although, I would politely correct them.. "You catch when you fish, you harvest when you hunt."

Personally, I dont get these bad boys, especially 15x flavor. They carry a heavy price tag, even compared to Duovids, or 15x Swaros. What advantage do the 10x or 15x have? I have never felt the need to have a rangefinde in my 15x binos. Think about archery hunting, try to range a javelina, mule deer or whatever at 10 or even 15x at 40 yards! I think the Leica rangefinders are 7x, and even that can be a little much! Also, the Geovids have a (I think) 10 year warranty (maybe less) because of the electronics on the inside. I carry my Duovids, and my Leica 900 with out a problem. I keep my RF on my belt so I can get to it in a pinch. -
Very nice! I think that is your classic, perfect 105" buck! His little buddy would have been in trouble if there was a second hunter, I would imagine!

That Lester?

When evere there is a 'surprise rifle' in my family, it is usually me showing my family my new gun! How nice it must be to have the roll reversed

I was on Ruby Rd. It was PERFECT for glassing up until about 9 am, then the wind picked up slightly.
