    Outdoor fears Part 2

I was just waiting for someone else to say it first!!!! I go to San Carlos(Mexico) and go snorkeling and stay where it's about 6-10 ft deep and I can see everything around me. I start getting to the edge of the reef where you can't see the bottom and I turn around real quick. I am real jumpy out there. I get in the water in the lake to wakeboard but I don't hang out too much just for "fun" in the water. Also, I'm not too big a fan of the dark when out in the "woods" either. Somehow I have supersonic hearing in every direction my flashlight is not shining . I guess I just saw way too many movies as a kid. 100% agree!!!! every word matches! (minus the ocean thing, screw that... I wont even go in past my ankles)

Which is best? Leica, Swar. or Zeiss need HELP!!!

First off, I owned the Zeiss 15x60 classics for a year or two. While being "good" binos, they are not great and do not compare to either the Swaros or the Leicas. When I was searching for the "Ultimate" glass, I decided on 10+15x50 Leica Duovids, and have not looked back at all. IMHO, they are the best glass on the markey and provide two pairs of excellant binos in one to save weight. I love them and would not think twice about buying them again.

2007-08 Big Game Super Raffle Elk

What does this mean?????? Were you there on the hunt? Are you even referring to the elk's antlers or something kinky between you and Gino? Just curious is all..... but not bi-curious as my avatar might suggest. Seen pix.... About being duped by your buck last year... Still one of the most mass impressive bucks I have ever seen!

    Name this snake!!

He's big enough for a hat band, but not a belt! And yeah, my XD seems to track to the head on its own... iffin its snakes, or jack rabbits!

    Outdoor fears Part 2

Chris, we agree on something! I have been very fortunate when it comes to snakes. I have only ran across one and he buzzed about 15 yards before I got to him... Giving me plenty of time to get my XD out and introduce him to a 155 grainer. I have been a little hesitant to take out my dog out scouting with me since then. Its too bad too because he LOVES going scouting!

Yep. That 325 wsm is one interesting round. Personally, I like to put big holes into elk.. My elk rifle is a 30-06 with either 168/180 TSX or 180 Accubonds.
