First off, I owned the Zeiss 15x60 classics for a year or two. While being "good" binos, they are not great and do not compare to either the Swaros or the Leicas. When I was searching for the "Ultimate" glass, I decided on 10+15x50 Leica Duovids, and have not looked back at all. IMHO, they are the best glass on the markey and provide two pairs of excellant binos in one to save weight. I love them and would not think twice about buying them again. -
Well, you want to help Mike and I glass while we are pokin around in 34a?

What does this mean?????? Were you there on the hunt? Are you even referring to the elk's antlers or something kinky between you and Gino? Just curious is all..... but not bi-curious as my avatar might suggest. Seen pix.... About being duped by your buck last year... Still one of the most mass impressive bucks I have ever seen!

Gino, you and I both know what it looks like

Name this snake!!
firstcoueswas80 replied to peckl1's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
He's big enough for a hat band, but not a belt! And yeah, my XD seems to track to the head on its own... iffin its snakes, or jack rabbits! -
Chris, we agree on something! I have been very fortunate when it comes to snakes. I have only ran across one and he buzzed about 15 yards before I got to him... Giving me plenty of time to get my XD out and introduce him to a 155 grainer. I have been a little hesitant to take out my dog out scouting with me since then. Its too bad too because he LOVES going scouting!
-
Did you really just say "bigger bull"
-
Yep. That 325 wsm is one interesting round. Personally, I like to put big holes into elk.. My elk rifle is a 30-06 with either 168/180 TSX or 180 Accubonds.

after eating all the stuff(especially the guacamole dip!) Chef made at the Tucson get together I would definatly try any recipe he had. Again, Wade hit it on the head! Chef, your Salsa Bandera was fantastic (Pico de Gallo)

firstcoueswas80 replied to skyhawkbowhunter's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
yeah, they changed that a while back TJ.if you look it up in the regs it says 1 per calender year now with the 1 exception being the big game raffle and auction tags. Yep. Wade is spot on. -
New coues gun
firstcoueswas80 replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Yeah, hand loads all the way. Gun has only seen 3 shots of factory ammo, and that was by the smith to make sure it would safely go bang! -
Absolutely. Buck like that gets it from me. I love how unique he is. I would hang him from my wall with pride!

Very good adventure. I hate getting stuck, especially in weather like that! Nice to hear the "customer service" of the ranger et al.
