Three new videos added to the store!

I saw it also, and it is a pretty good video.
  2. I really think they will be today. I have said the 17th for a while, so I stay true to my guess!
  3. I also think it has to do with the owner.. Stu... he is notorious for looking in his bank and saying "Hey, I have 1.5 million in the bank(or what ever)... lets build a new store..." Then, the next month he cant pay his bills... It is remarkable to me that SW has stayed open since 1986.

    First hunt(s)

My first succesful hunt was when I was 12. My dad, grandpa and I had a unit 1 late rifle bull tag (my first time ever putting in). On the 3rd day, we pulled over on the side of the road and glassed up a herd of elk on the tippy top of a mountain that we knew how to get to the base of it by truck. Well, we get to the base of hill and take off. I match my dad step for step.. When he freezes, I freeze etc etc... We get to the last tree and survey the elk.. Oh man, theres a nice, tasty trophy spike standing there... This was way before we had a range finder, so we guess it 250-275 yards. I level my .308 on the spike and take my shot. I missed (go figure) and off he starts trotting... I jack another round in and I am on him.. I put it on his nose and squeezed. An elk dropped right there and never moved again! Well, Dad decides to tell me "Son, I think you may have shot a cow, I have a spike in my sights!" Holy chit, talk about a good way to start my hunting career!! Anyways, long story short we thought there was only one spike in the group, but there ended up being two. We walk up to the bull and the shot caught him right under the jaw bone in the artierey.

    need opinions

I favorite is something in the 4.5-14x40 or so version. I like the 4.5-14x44 Zeiss. That is what I am putting on my .257 wby. I also have a 4.5-14x50. That is pretty large but I like it.

    Big Lake fishing?

What I usually do is get a two pole stamp. I will have one pole set up for power bait, 6 lb test with about a 3 foot leader with a bell. If there is room, with the other pole I will walk around a little and try and catch a fish that are a little more active. I personally havent had much luck at Big Lake, but have done well at Cresent, Sunrise, Drift Fence, and Reservation lake. A friend and I caught a limit of 2-4 lbers using this technique at Cresent a couple of summers ago.
  18. Larry, I knew where that was going! Hahah! Thanks guys!
