So, I had this idea boiling in my mind, but after seeing how HICAP40's turned out, I had to do it! I ordered the pistol grip stock and really like it, then put a reddish brown primer on and used the make it stone paint to get the final product! A quick coat or two with the matte sealer and I called it good!

Illegal to Kill Rattlesnake?
firstcoueswas80 replied to BASS's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Somehow, I have been extremly lucky and have only come across one while out there (knock on wood)... This thing coiled up and was ready to whoop my butt when I was about 5 feet from him. I sat there looking at this 3-3.5" rattler for about 15 seconds trying to decide if I should let him go and take pictures of him, or introduce him to a 155 gr. hollow point from the Xd-40... I usually take my dog with me and I didnt have him with me this time.. So I let him meet the XD. -
Well, if its them teaching me and rolling with me... I guess I could take a shot or two!

AzpackNhorns and I with his opening day buck, and largest to date.. Guided to by yours truely. He made a fantastic 354 yard shot DRT A gorgeous sunset on RedRabbit's December hunt First succesful paying client! (Who happens to be moms boss, and I dont know if I would call him paying, but he did give me a rather generous "Christmas present"). This hunt was a blast. We didnt get out of bed until 730 the next morning because ummm..... ehhh it was cold... We got out of the truck at 830, but by 842, my camera and knife were seeing action. It was a lot of fun and that made us 3/3 (well, 2.5/3) -

I think Matt Hughes is one of the best guys in the UFC, but if the thinks Robbie won that second round, he must have brown eyes....

That for sure was one of the ugliest fights I have ever seen. I think they each expected to knock each other out early in the fight. Once that didn't happen, they didn't know what the heck to do! I'm pretty sure I could have beat them both on the ground! I've never taken Judo or Ju Jitsu (sp) but I wrestled all through highschool and even I knew what to do when they were both laying there gasping for air!

Amen on that guy having the weakest chin! Kimbo popped him with a 1/2 assed swing once or twice and he was wobbly! Kimbo really showed how truely strong he is though. When he wanted to get off of the bottom, he did. i REALLY believe when he fights some one half way decent, hes gonna get his arse whooped!
-
If/when Kimbo gets put against someone whos a "name", he'll go down. He looked like a fish out of water! If Thompson would have had any gas left, he would have ground his butt down until the ref was forced to stop it! He was hittin him and elbowing him, but they didnt have anything more that the weight of his hand behind them. It was a OK fight though.

I am not a fan of the Badlands packs.... The 4500 is nice, but to ME it was way too top heavy.. IMO The 2800 is a terrible design... completly designed around the wings, as there is 0 space for storage anywhere but the wings. Same for the 2200... On the other hand, I LOVE my J107 Eberlestock!

dang, if its been accurized and has the brake, thats a good deal! My smith charges $250 for the accurizing alone!

Actually, I received a "gold diploma" from my highschool which means automatic admission to any college I wanted. But nice try. Jake, 18% is usually more than they deserve, I usually give them 15% or so. Actually, I never tip at McDonalds or Burger King.

Got bored coyote hunting ( read, none were coming in) so decided to turn it into a trophy jack rabbit hunt. After looking over many trophies, this is the one I settled. The 3" #4 buck shot did its job! Do I win the trophy picture? Ps. I missed another coyote, but I had reason to with this one, it was a 40 yard shot through brush with my handgun! PSS, this was with my camera phone! Couescowboy has other ones on his digital.

I dont recall ever saying the school was great, I recall stating that I support there athletics... As far as choosing NAU over U of A or ASPUUUU.... NAU is a smaller campus, smaller classes, better education... My LARGEST class ( one that EVERYONE has to take) was maybe 130 people... I had Spanish classes that were 12 people... I'd like to see U of A or ASPUUUU come close to touching that.
