got my mount back
firstcoueswas80 replied to Webber's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Very nice buck and mount! Something I think most taxidermists miss is the pink in the ears (most I have seen have been black) and yours are pink. Looks great! -
That is correct. Howa makes tha Vanguard action. They are pretty decent rifles for being on the lower end of the price range, and being made in Japan. Good solid actions, known for exceptional accuracy out of the box... uhhhh.... I mean they are terrible. I will give you $150 and take the gun off of your hands regardless of caliber

I dont own any trail cams, nor do I plan on owning any but that sounds like a good conest! -
Actually Jim..... Dad and I were at Patagonia one time fishing the early morning.... Well, a trout i guess thought he had to put some extra zip under his arse to catch that bug that was sitting on the water and DID jump into the Champion! It was nuts! Dad and I about fell in the water laughing... And don forget, its alot funner falling out of a Champion when the trolling motor gets stuck in the mud!

**Ruger Stainless Single Six Revolver**
firstcoueswas80 replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Classified Ads
Mike, I could be mistaken, but I think Doug sold his .218 a year or two back. I have never shot this one, but have seen it and, like all of Dougs stuff is clean as a whistle -
Jim, when its done your gonna want to put it in a glass safe and stare at it!
-
Doug youre killin me! I have wanted one of these since I sold mine! This gun is clean and shoots well!
-
Cute fish Jim. This is what you get from a Pro Craft (all though we have a Champion now) My dad caught this fish on his birthday. He won the tournament, and big fish of the year
-
Jim, since its fathers day, you let him right?
-
Way cool! Scottyboy will enjoy this when he sees it!

Thats awesome Tyson! Sheds and fallin' trees! I enjoy both of them! What a hard two weeks at the office... Want to trade jobs for a pay period? -
I have never stuck anything with Wac'em's but I carried them for my pig hunt. They flew spectacular! The same as my field tips!

Tubb Bore conditioning
firstcoueswas80 replied to daryl_s's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have read about these ( not this exact one) but the Ultra Bore Coat system. I have never personally used them but from my understanding they are supposed to work well for keeping "gunk" from getting underneath. Also, from what I read, to get it metal to metal from a dirty rifle it takes a extreme amount of cleaning to get the bore spotless. -

RIP UP THOSE AZG&F SURVEY CARDS!!!!
firstcoueswas80 replied to bowsniper's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I'm with you! g-f understands that if they give true numbers then it will show how bad our herd numbers are and then they would not be able to push there " EXTRA 10,000 hunters into the field at $42.50 = 42.5k extra income! " We the Paying customers are on the side of wildlife and are wanting true facts of our herd numbers. that is why we want mandatory reporting of all big game. G-f, I think does not respect nor understand how much time and effort our az hunting clubs do for our wildlife! Without us the membership of aba, ada, asa, rmlf, wta, yuma club, desert christian archers and many more . I wonder what az hunting would look like . You would think when our leaders of the clubs go infront of the comish they would understand they are representing the state of az as a whole for their paying custumers. instead of disrespecting them in front of everybody. mike Add another zero to that income amount! $425,000!!! -

Best Choice for Varmint rifle
firstcoueswas80 replied to az4life's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
I think .204 is a good round, but seems to loose enegery QUICK! Had a buddy hit one at around 300 and not recover it. I prefer the 22-250 with a 50, or 55 grain bullet. anything in the 6mm, (.243) .257, 6.5 mm (.264) or what ever gun you have with you at the time is a perfect gun. My perfect gun, would be something based on a AR action for quick follow up shots (misses) or doubles. Something in .22-250 would be perfect. 243 would work also. -
Not a problem! Glad I could help!

I have the 110. It is nice, but I think the radio is a tad weak. When AzpackNhorns and I were packing out his buck, we had a hard time getting the GPS reading on Ajohunter who was using a 110 as well.

I, personally love BBQ. Bring on the fat jokes.
