Well, my bow started at 263, ended at 274... so gained 11 FPS.... Thats not that fast, so I would think tat a faster bow would gain more by loosing the drag.... Oh, yeah and my goups went from dinner plate, to pie tin... at 20 yards! hahah! -
I am very familar with the rifle, I work at Sportsmans Warehouse and fondle it nearly everyday. It, in essence has the same stock (made the same exact way). Other than the stock, I like the gun.

That might have been DBarcher...

I gained 10 FPS when I switched from my WB to my Rip Cord. -
If I was you, I would remove that stock, sell it on the web, and buy a bell and carlson or something to replace it. I am not a big fan of the SPS stock. My dad has a SPS in 22-250 and i am pretty disapointed with the smoothness of the action, as compared to a polished 700 action it is ROUGH.

Snakes and Pups....
firstcoueswas80 replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I love taking my dog out scouting with me as much as he loves to go but I get nervous in the summer months for that reason! I had never had a run in with a snake until one day north of Arivaca lake last year. I almost brought my dog with me but decided to leave him at home.. well, i was walking back to meet up with my dad at the boat when a 3-4' long Rattler coiled up at me wanting to eat me for breakfast..... Needless to say, he met 155 grains of .40 Smith and Wesson right to the mouth.. wasnt a big fan of it either! -
Personally, Id stay (and did) with the good ole 22-250.

Thats a pretty dang good idea!
